Hi,

I have had a good look at wiwimod, and its far better than its name.. ;) Guess I'll stop trying to tweak the dokuwiki..

One thing that does not work is an editor.. I downloaded HtmlArea from the wiwimod site, and put it in the wiwimod folder - but it just does not seem to work... (I get a blank page when trying to edit)

Am I attempting to install atmlArea in the wrong way..?

(I placed it in the wiwimod folder because that's where HtmlArea was in earlier version of that wiki..)

It is a great wiki ideed.

However, permissions (acls) do not seem to work right with xoops... I can get admins to edit, but registered and visiting users can not vie the pages..

Any idea how to work around that?

xoopschat module

Hi,

I try to allow all site visitors to use the chat rooms. However, xoopschat module does not let me change permissions on its' default room - nor can it be deleted..

After further tweaking, it seems to "forget" the room even exists...

Has anyone got a zipped working version of the module?

Hacking Shoutbox and headlines modules

Hi,

I am attempting to have multiple instances of shoutbox and headlines in 1 XOOPS site...

As it seems, I should make the modules open new sql forms and tables...

In the absence of visible sql folder/files within shoutbox and headlines modules -
has anyone got a clue where the db commands reside...?

I have installed XOOPS and hoped the forum will function similar to this one, i.e. with the DHTML menus for searching, rating and viewing mode...

Which forum module do I want to use for such functionalities..?

I am however interested in the shoutbox and headlines... Any idea where are the MySQL commands, so I could rename the db table...? (Assuming if I get it to open new MySQL table, it will work...)
