Hi,

I am attempting to have multiple instances of shoutbox and headlines in 1 XOOPS site...

As it seems, I should make the modules open new sql forms and tables...

In the absence of visible sql folder/files within shoutbox and headlines modules -
has anyone got a clue where the db commands reside...?

Know nothing about Shoutbox, but duplicable XHLD is cool replacement for Headlines

Thanks! I'll take your word as to the coolness of XHLD and hope its a simple duplication job... ;)

I like the WebLinks module for feeds, myself.

Give this a try with shoutbox:
-copy all files into diferent directory
-open xoops_version.php
-give it a new module name
-change install directory to new directory name

From your previous post, shoutbox doesn't appear to use db tables so this should work.
