For your Main Menu go to Admin>>Modules then select the order you prefer by numbering them. For blocks, you do the same thing except in admin>>blocks. (Select visible 'yes' to make your selections easier).

As a rule of thumb, I number everything in increments of 10. ie: 10, 20, 30, and so on. This way I can slip other modules or blocks in between without having to spend time renumbering everything when a design change is needed.

Hope this helps, but feel free to ask for further details if I misunderstood the question.

Cheers

No worries about the english, I just wasn't clear an what you needed to be done

If I follow you correctly and you wish to change how the redirect looks, you can look in Admin >>Templates>>System>>system_redirect.html

This is where you can edit the look and feel of the redirect page. Remember to 'clone' your default template before editing and enable automatic changes in the admin>>preferences.

Sorry if misunderstood your question, one of us here will get it right!

You could possibly copy and paste the script into a new block from the blocks admin section. Make it appear in the right column and select php as the output.

I'm not 100% sure on how effective this is. It may depend on the complexity of your php and other things, but it's worth a shot. Hope it helps.

Cheers.

After looking around, I didn't see any way around this. Funny I never noticed before. In any case, you can go into the template and comment out:

<{$block.lang_othernews}>
<ul>
<{foreach item=news from=$block.stories}>
<li><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/news/article.php?storyid=<{$news.id}>"><{$news.title}></a> (<{$news.hitsordate}>)</li>
<{/foreach}>

This will remove it from being displayed. The reason I suggest commenting out the code is that it will make it much easier to uncomment if you decide to change your mind later down the road without having to redo or find the code again.

Cheers.

The url is different then what you have displayed in the original post, and any other revisions I make to try and get you your site end up producing negative results. Therefore I can't see what you are trying to achieve.

Anyhow, if you want to include a jave script in one of your news items, just be sure that html is enabled for the post and include the <script> in the article. If that is of course what you are trying to achieve. I'm trying to guess at this point

Nice and handy tip for those that could use it.

Don't worry about the bandwidth, in fact if you put your little tutorial here in the forums, it makes it that much easier to search for

I've messed with this before on various themes and get the same or mixed results depending on the colors used. The Category text links use the same color as the regular links as denoted in the .css style.

The only way to get around this is to assign a class to the category text and links and then change your .css to to use the class ID rather then the global color used.

I'm not very strong in this area, so you will need to ask others here to find out what table information to change or what have you.

May I suggest that when creating the documention, it can be imported into PDF format? This way, you are guaranteed a machine readable text that will print and display anywhere.

Making manuals in PDF format not only makes sense, it's professional looking.

Just my thoughts.
