For your Main Menu go to Admin>>Modules then select the order you prefer by numbering them. For blocks, you do the same thing except in admin>>blocks. (Select visible 'yes' to make your selections easier).

As a rule of thumb, I number everything in increments of 10. ie: 10, 20, 30, and so on. This way I can slip other modules or blocks in between without having to spend time renumbering everything when a design change is needed.

Hope this helps, but feel free to ask for further details if I misunderstood the question.

Cheers

Is there any way to set the default on this page? My site (in development locally) always switches back to "Visible - All" to show all blocks....and I'm forever wanting it to be set at "Yes", so I just see what I have used.

Unfortunately no. In some regards I wouldn't want it to default to visible only, because later down the road I may have a desire to make something visible. Sure, I can view hidden, but sometimes just seeing it in the list makes me onder if there is a way can place it in my site in some nice way.

It's a bit of a pain having to select visible each time we go to the admin, I agree, but something more I would like to see is that it remembers your preference for the duration of your session at least. I don't particularly like having to set visible everytime I update something on the admin page.

I know, it's minor, but hey, it's all about me!
