I use FileZilla, but its a manual process. A recurring automation feature would be nice.

If anyone knows how to make that happen, I'm listening.

Some hosts have a backup feature listed on the cPanel menu.

The trouble most likely isn't with XOOPS but with your php.ini settings and .htaccess setup.

I've had some of the best take a run at my site and they all go away shaking their heads.

Send me your php.ini via the feedback on my site and I'll be happy to scan it for obvious exploitable settings.

Thanks again man.
Those updates seem to have fixed the xim issue I was having after upgrading to 2.5.5.

I'll post any issues as they occur.

Edit these values to "Off" in the same file:
register_globals On
allow_url_fopen On

1 level above your public_html folder look for php.ini

Its not about "matching" the size, but in your case it should match.

As much as I love hostgator, they are usually a bit behind in versions that are installable via the cPanel.

Manual installation is a fairly easy task that you shouldn't have too much trouble with. And you get the latest versions that way.

Hint* Lower your memory limit to match the max filesize.

There's no "Dante" version...I was referring to the alfred branch and the 'other' branch of NewBB that Mamba posted as a final version last week.

Yes, Not the Alfred branch of NewBB. Whatever the hell the other one was that Mamba posted as final last week.
(the last time I tried the Alfred branch I had same result)

No, I did not delete that folder. Thanks for reminding me. However I think that this is an example of why modules should have their own upload folder in the specific module itself so we don't end up with a bunch of orphaned folders as we develop our sites.

As for debug Alfred, Thats going to have to be this weekend when I have time to give this latest release another try.

Thanks for all your hard work, both of you.

I'm getting white pages when clicking on topics, etc..

XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.5
PHP Version 5.3.13
mySQL Version 5.5.23-55
Server API cgi-fcgi
OS Linux
safe_mode Off
register_globals Off
magic_quotes_gpc Off
allow_url_fopen Off
fsockopen On
post_max_size 64M
max_input_time 60
output_buffering
max_execution_time 30
memory_limit 64M
file_uploads On
upload_max_filesize 64M

I reverted back to the last release Mamba made and everything is functional again..

I apologize but I simply don't see where you promoting modules that you have created is solving anything.

He's using NewBB, why not attempt to troubleshoot the issue first?
