You can find that link in system_block_mainmenu.html. You can edit that thru system admin - templates.

Remember: data is in database. In normal cases there will never be database changes in small releases.

Just overwrite your old files with the new one from the package. (As you say). You do not have to run install script again, neither the upgrade file, since your mainfile.php is already modified.

You should check the readme file in the package which lists a couple of known problems, and your problem is exactly one of them.

You know why the file is called 'read-me'?

Are you sure that you overwritten all files that were in the upgrade package? Since if so, include/version.php should also be overwritten.

Chapi has given the solution, however, smarty is exactly designed to keep code and design seperated.

You better might want to 'import' the script to xoops, and dump the final output into a smarty var.

$xoopsTpl->assign('var_to_smarty', $your_var);

You can then call it by <{$var_to_smarty}>

XOOPS is quite spider friendly compared to like for example php-nuke.

You might want to check how this site (xoops.org) is crawled by xoops, seems fine to me...

As you prolly know, the version numbers has changed, so the version you are saying is prolly XOOPS 1.2.2. If it is really that version you will have to update first to XOOPS 1.3.10, and then from that to XOOPS 2.0.6.

I'm not really sure that you can directly update from XOOPS 1.2.2 to XOOPS 1.3.10, since as far as I remember there where a lot of database changes from 1.2 to 1.3, and I don't think the upgrade is in the full package.

You might want to contact Herko to be able to see all files XOOPS has ever released to update on that way.
