The last time I heard about this was because of an url error.

Webmaster using a mix with :

www.mysite.com
mysite.com

Switching from one adress to the other caused a session losse.

Check your links.

All existing 2.2 module version have a pendant on 2.0. Don't worry about that.

Before updating to the new version, open each and everyone of your bloc setting page (so that those are kept in memory). Update the module, then send back the module settings page.

This tip is worth only for upgrade from 1.8 to 1.8.1. Not 1.7 to 1.8.

Sorry to hear about your problem.

I don't think you have to blame developpers or users about the lack of response to your problem.

Anyway, the actuall core developper concluded this:

To clarify a few things: 2.2 is, technically speaking, a two years leap backward for XOOPS. It is not only a lot slower, but its architecture has also been greatly damaged in a way that makes it impossible to fix entirely.

The persons you need to blame for this are people who were in charge of the communication regarding this version. If you had been member of the french speaking community, you would have known this since the beginning. Unfortunately, it hasn't been done here...

I think you mean blocks instead of modules, no?

Anyway, have you tried setting those blocs visible on the module you have set as top page?

Sorry to say, but you may use multiMenu for such operations.
