What would a messed up file look like?
Considering its been ages now, I have reinstalled Xoops, reinstalled newbb, changed theme and the merging problem still occurs. I even changed bloody host and the same thing appears.

Here is "newbb_viewtopic_flat.html", I know i have m ine set to flat.

Went back to 2.0.5 and still got the same problem.

Its been ages now and still no help... anyone?

Mine has just done the same thing too.

One second it was fine, and another I got about five Yahoo Instant Messages saying it was off. No one person caused the problem, the SQL databases are fine.

I have noticed others have the same inexplicable problem and all have posted here in the same month. The problem is in Xoops, not the users. Could it be 2.0.6 related?

At first it was fine and I could move all my Catagories up or down, then it became only downwards movement would work.

Now though, neither Move Up nor Move Down work so my catagories are frozen out of order.

Can anyone help please?

I uninstalled version 1 and deleted it. Now I have installed 1.33 and go into the gallery rom the main menu i get:

Error: Could not open lock file (/home/ibanez/public_html/modules/xoopsgallery/cache/albums/album01/photos.dat.lock)!Error: Could not open lock file (/home/ibanez/public_html/modules/xoopsgallery/cache/albums/album01/album.dat.lock)!Error: Could not open lock file (/home/ibanez/public_html/modules/xoopsgallery/cache/albums/albumdb.dat.lock)!

Checking the directories, these files do not exist, the admin directory is empty. In the admin, everything is green and fine, so i can't see hat the problem is.

The one that came with XOOPS 2.0.3 I never installed any other gallery module.

I am trying to install the gallery in XOOPS 2.0.5.1 but when I get to the end and it says that the admin account has been set up and click below to enter the gallery, it doesn't allow me in, it says I don't have permission, not even giving me a chance to say I am the Admin. I have even CHMOD the files back to what it says. At the top of this screen it says:

Warning: fopen(/home/ibanez/public_html/albums/.users/1044675860:1046912273.0): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/ibanez/public_html/modules/gallery/platform/fs_unix.php on line 53

But changing the CHMOD on this file and directory doesn't help.

I have been at this for hours now and would appreciate a reply.

Oh thanks that worked. Only now I can't find where to re-synchronise the post count.

I tried doing that already, all I managed to do is lose all my current posts and the merge was still there.

The merge is no on the forum selection page, just where you read the posts, it has overlapped and the rest of it is 'behind' the post. It doens't matter which theme or database either. I don't know PHP or SQL so i have no clue as to why.
