how to redirect

I was wondering how to redirect my website adress to just an ipdress. for example say the link to my website would be 123.45.67.890/index.php . how would I be able to change it so that when a person enters 123.45.67.890 it would go to my XOOPS website instead of having to add the /index.php ?

looking for an easy way to insert picture into my articles

I'm looking for an easy way to instert pictures into my website articles. like for example browsing for a picture and then selecting it and then it showing up. I'm using smartsection as article editor right now. I'd be greatfull if someone could help me out. thanks already!

xoops path check

I have a major problem. I had my PC divided into three partitions. one for backups, one for cms, and one for windows server. I started getting problems with my windows services, so I thought I'll just reinstall windows on the partition I have it on now, and reinstall the necesarry programs to run my XOOPS website with and load my cms backup onto my CMS partition, change the driver letters, and my website should work. However my website gives the following error message:

XOOPS path check: Script is not inside XOOPS_ROOT_PATH and cannot run.




Could somebody please tell me what this means and help me out to fix it. I would really appreciate it cuz I spent alot of time in this website and it's a project for school too. thanks already for your help.

does anyone know any php programming tutorials?

I don't know which forum I should place this topic in, but I'll just post it here. I'm wanting to learn php programming and I was wondering if anyone knows any websites that have good php tutorials. Where I can learn php programming. I know I can search with google, but I thought I could as post it in a forum and see if the XOOPS community has any suggestions for me. thanks for your help already!

Re: banners?

I figured it out why my GIF image wasn't animating. I'm running my website on Windows 2003 server, and on server ActiveX is always deactivated. I tried accessing my site from a different operating system and my banner works fine. The only problem I have now is how do I put several different gif pics beside each other to make a full banner? just copy past in photoshop?
