My theme choice is ignored - always get default

Just completed a successful install. Everything works fine except that when I try to change theme nothing happens - I still get default. Tried clearing cache, restarting browser. Any help much appreciated.

XOOPS Version:
XOOPS 2.0.15

XOOPS Template Set:
default

PHP Version:
5.1.1

MySQL Version:
5.0.18

Server Software:
Apache/2.2.0 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.0 OpenSSL/0.9.8a mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.1.1

Browser:
Opera/9.02 (Windows 98; U; en)

You realized that there are two settings in admin - site preferences affecting theme selection?
(default theme setting, allowed themes)

Did you log off and in again after switching the default theme (if you went by preferences)?

Thanks so much, Bender! Problem solved. I was just changing the allowed themes box, not the default theme choice. I hope that with more experience I will stop making silly mistakes like this!
