Hello,
I have one PHP page which I want to include as modul into xoops.

How would I do that?

I tried to put it in as block, but then it is always there and cannot be separately selected.

So, how would I create a module so that my page can be independantly shown within xoops?

Maybe it only works when the XOOPS is installed into the main directory.
Who knows.....

DT

Have you tried these sites?

http://www.avatarity.com/
http://download.pastrugni.com/avatar.php

Gestroud, no, on my site I dont have problems with that. There I control the admin.
Only here I had problems and there was no info to find about: after how many posts I can upload an own avatar.
Actually I prefer to make a link to an avatar, so that it doesnt take away space on the server, but that option does not exist.

Or its maybe.....
because I have complained about it?????

Gues you are special ;)
Thats why they allow you to use own avatars....
or....
There is a minimum amount of posts required to be able to upload avatars.
I have seen one of those options in the XOOPS I have installed.

Well, how do people know how many posts they have to make?

Daaaaag Bennie,
no, it did not help.
My documents folder is in the public_html folder.
I tried it all: public_html/documents/documents but it didnt work.
The documents folder is in the public_html folder and in that documents folder is another documents folder.

I have also played around with the TMP folder set permissions to 777, but nothing works.

Hi,
I just cant get the DMS running.
I got it from here:
https://xoops.org/modules/repository

I have CHMODed everything necessary 777 and get answers like this when UPLOADING a file:
Quote:
Error: Unable to move file.
SP:/tmp/phpzLSmlf
DP:/portal/documents/1/1/1/2700001.dat

Or if I want to create a document I get this:
Quote:
Error: Failure to copy file. Either source path or destination path is not accessable.

Which source path????? When Creating a Doc, then It does not ask for source paths.

Sure, but there is only a dropdown menu with avatars and no option to upload them.

Thanks for the advise.

Another problem I have with the 2.2.3 is that I cant really show anything on the mainpage.
I have selected which block to show left or right. Later when I switch to the mainpage, then there is nothing but the button I need to go to the administration part.

Maybe it is the PHP version which makes that the 2.2.3 does not work at my place.
