In my XOOPS page as well as here I have the problem:
although permanent cookies are allowed, the page does not keep me logged in.
Is there a mod so that people can remain logged in upon return?

I have just btested WORDPRESS and there its no problem.
I come back and I am logged in. The same for my Forum.

hello,
it would be interesting to have a menu to modify the style sheets, just as people can modify the blocks in the Blocks administration.

Then, you should slightly adapt your forum for better viewing.
where it says FORUM should be a different colour.

McNaz,
It worked all the time and the folders were always set to 777
anyway, thanks for the idea.

Herko, that my firewall is blocking referrer informations is interesting.

Which would be the referrer, so that I can manually allow it, so that that does not happen again?

Anyway, until today I did not have any problems and I have the firewall already since quite a while.

At least now I can post again. This forum was also blocked and I could not post previously.

Hello,
today I am having severe problems with xoops.

I wanted to activate one module, but get an error...
"Unable to write to main menu."

Then I wanted to modify a block, but when saving it I get the message: Failed Update of Block ID:...

In the past it always worked fine and I have not made any changes to the system.

What could be the problem?

Then, all the time I was not able to post here anything.
I always got an error "Could not insert forum post"

How about a XOOPS MOD which puts the CSS on the screen, you can modify and save it. You would see imediate results.
Maybe it will be in the new 2.2.4 ;)

Hello,
I have tested a module called site statistics and I put it into the left column under the Menus.

I found: If there is something to show then it kicks all menus out of whack.
The menus in the default scheme are usually 170px wide.
Well, the overly wide Referrer part makes them later about 300px wide which makes that the entire page doesnt look nice any more.

Just an observation.

I tried it and it does basically what I want. Nice Module :)

Only drawback, but thats a "cosmetic" issue:

I can put the submenus of TinyD0 into a separate block. Thats nice, but then in the BLOCKS menu there appears still the TinyDO link giving practically 'double' access to the same links.

Then: It should be possible to Rename the TinyD0 link in the modules are to something else. Visitors dont know what expects them when clicking on something called "TinyD0"
If It could be called for example "More Links" then people would know what to do with it.

Well, If I go onto a page and see a link TinyD0....then I think: Never heard of it, well, its probably anyway not where I want to go and the people dont click on it to see the other menus.

You can see what it looks like onhttp://www.umm-pur.com/xoops

How about a modul to include standalone pages?

A module, where you just type in the URL of a page you want to include plus the name of the menu-button and the module displays it in an Iframe or so, so that the page would be shown in XOOPS even without having to change the links in the original page.

The module could allow to include as many pages as the user wants and for every page a new menu button is created.

So, three options would be needed in the module. 1) the URL and 2) the name for the menu button and 3) the oder in which they appear.
