The file include/functions.php contains the function wfl_substr which should overcome this. I'm not sure if this function works with XOOPS there it was written for ICMS.

You're probably using an older version of WF-Links.

Open include/linkload.php and find the line(s) where the description is assigned. It probably looks like this:

Replace it with:

In wflinks_linkloadinfo.html replace

I've just installed XOOPS 2.3.3 Final on my local test server with the following details:
- Apache/2.2.11 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8i mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.2.8
- MySQL client version: 5.1.30

MyTube 1.05 RC-1 test 1:
Install => no problems
Uninstall => no problems

MyTube 1.05 RC-1 test 2:
Install => no problems
Import MyTube database tables, all categories & videos were imported correctly and were accesible. Videos were playing correctly.
Uninstall => no problems


With the debugger turned on a few errors are visible, but are caused by XOOPS 2.3.x and not by MyTube.


The problem that is mentioned in this forum thread might be caused by another module cq. conflict with MyTube.

The module was called XoopsTube before, if you google for this you will find plenty sites using this module.

Check if the folder name on your server is spelled correctly: FCKeditor or fckeditor.
Also check if it's correctly spelled by that module.

Today the first Release Candidate of MyTube 1.05 has been released.
In this version the dimensions of most playes have been set to a 16:9 ratio and most video can be played automatically.
Three new sources have been added: Megavideo, Viddler and Vimeo.

Autoplay
In the Preferences is an option that will make the videos from the following sources autoplay: YouTube, MetaCafe, MySpace TV, DailyMotion, Blip.tv, ClipFish, LiveLeak, Maktoob, Vimeo and MyTube.
For the other sources I am still looking for an how-to. Any help with this is welcome!
