Modifying file info in My Downloads

hi...

My question relates to My Download module.

I've created category say Category A. Under this category, i've placed a file say File B. Now my question is i can modify the category but how do i modify the file information of File B (e.g. file name, it's path, file size) ..or say i want to delete File B and need to place a new file File C under the same category.
I just found tht the only way to modify/delete the file is:

I must remember the file ID....which obviouosly won't be possible if there are hundreds of files.

I might be wrong here so wud appreciate if anyone can tell me is there any other way of modifying/deleting this?

hi....

i m trying to install DMS v 1.0 (downloaded from XOOPS module repository) but m getting this error:

Installing Document Management System
-------------------------------------
Invalid default value for 'obj_id'

Unable to install dms. Error(s):

Can anyone suggest wht's wrong? Any help would be highly appreciated.

hi...

i just installed XOOPS v 2.0.13.2. The installation went ok. Now i m trying to setup a small site using it. I first tried to install the Polls module. It was installed successfully. I can view the Poll Configuration window dispalying the list of all polls but when i try to configure Polls module, nothing happens. I m neither able to add a new poll nor able to edit the existing poll that was installed by default with the setup.

Can anyone suggest wht was wrong?

hi...

i m new to XOOPS and trying to install XOOPS 2.0.13 on my system running php 5, MySQL 4.1, apache 2, Windows XP. While proceeding with the installation steps, i get a blank screen after page 7 where it says Confirm Database Settings. i m providing the follwoing details here:
Database Hostname: localhost
Database Username: root
Database Name: XOOPS (already created in mysql)
Table Prefix: XOOPS

I've read numerous faqs on this site to get it resolved but to no avail. I even have re-installed apache, MySQL and php many times but tht doesn't worked even. Can anyone help me out?

i m pretty new to XOOPS and m trying to install xoops. i m having the same problem. i tried the faqs mentioned above but the end result is still a blank page. Please help me out.

Well i've changed the debug mode to PHP debug but no results. The debug mode only displays few warnings nd no errors. the problem is still there. Any ideas now?Quote:

hi all:

i've installed XOOPS 2.0.13 on WAMP and have just gone thru it's operation guide to help me getting started.

One thing that is really annoying me is some of the modules' administration is simply not working. Like i've installed XoopsPolls (Blind Polls). When i try to use Polls admin menu options (Add Polls, List Polls), they simply don't work. Preferences is the only menu option in Polls tht is working. I m trying to add a new poll but NOTHING happens. All i get is the address in the adress bar changes tohttp://localhost:8080/modules/xoopspoll/admin/index.php?op=add.

Assuming there might be some problem with this module, i installed another module "News". Same was the case here as well. Can anyone suggest wht's wrong?

hi all...

i am new to XOOPS and WAMP enviroment and want to explore xoops.

So to give XOOPS a test drive, i've installed it on an Win XP system running Apache 2, MySQL 4.1 and PHP 5. The installation is complete and i am able to access XOOPS using the full path http://localhost:8080/xoops/index.php in the browser. What all i need is, is there any way that i simply write http://localhost/xoops and default page of XOOPS loads in browser? As i m a newbie, i don't have any idea where and how to define the default page of a WAMP website. Any help will be appreciated.
