hi...

i'd downloaded a theme fromhttp://www.dugris.info and modified just the color scheme leaving the rest of the theme intact. Now my problem is the site runs well on some PCs while on some, it behaves annoyingly placing the blocks haphazardly all over the screen. i just compared the theme.html and style.css with the one given with default theme and eveything looks just fine. Can anyone suggest what's wrong?

hi.....

i've installed XOOPS 2.0.14 and have developed an intranet site. One annoying thing that i noticed is it works just perfectly on some PCs whereas on others, some modules display either just the user/main menu or a completely blank page. I would appreciate if someone can help me in figuring out what's wrong?

Hi

i have done new installation of xhelp 0.78 on XOOPS 2.0.14. I can't create a department, therefore can't do nothing with xhelp. Can anyone help please?

I can see the new department added onto the database (xhelp_departments table) but when I click "Manage Staff" it says "You must add departments before adding staff!". When I adding a new department in "Manage Department" it will go back to the same page.

hi...

i have deployed multimenu on my site. The menu contains 7-8 main menu items all of them having 5-6 sub menu items. The result of this is the browser screen has started scrolling down to accomodate the links. I just want to ask is there a way that i apply the collapsable (some ppl call it tree/show-hide menu also) menu option to the main links so tht the sub menus are dispalyed only when the main link is expanded?

I've tried the TreeMenu module but tht works only for the main menu. Where as in my case, I want it for my own menus that i've created using multimenu module.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Saima

hi...

i have deployed XOOPS 2.0.14c on a test server to explore it and have setup an intranet portal. The site is working fine. Now i want to shift the site to live server running Apache, PHP and MySQL. But i don't want to configure XOOPS all over again. I want to move it as it is from test server to live server. Can anyone tell me what do i need to do so that i don't go thru the tedious process of configuration. Any help wud be appreciated.

i m using WF-links and was getting the same problem (link not appearing). I tried skalpa's suggestion and it worked. The links started displaying in the categories. But now i m having another problem. Whenever i click on the link, it displays this error:
This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.
If you are the administrator of this site, please visit the XOOPS Troubleshooting Page for assistance.

I've checked all the permissions and found them to be correct. Please help me out.
