Thanks for replying! Madfish what server do you use? because they got into my site that way also. There was a virus up there and I've not uploaded ANYTHING in about 6months if that. So I was a little surprised. They still have no restored my backup. I've deleted all my files and reuploaded an OLD backup but I want them to restore from their backup. I'm still waiting and curious if your server is mine?

I'm finding it very difficult these days to get ANY kind of help in the forums? Are there not as many people looking after the forums? I'm very frustrated with not being able to get my answer resolved and I've asked it so many different ways it's seems. Lately there doesn't seem to be a whole heck of a lot of members online. Wondering what's going on , are people leaving xoops, even though it's been good for me, the recent hack into my site after using it for a couple of years is leaving me now wondering if I should leave. Hello- Website is located at www.brendalee4ever.com and I've got webcams there. When someone clicks on any of the cams it is suppose to than show up in the middle of the page rather than open up another browser. Not sure what I a am suppose to put in for the link. I'll explain in detail: (I've had this done perfectly before until a virus go into my server so I know it works SOME HOW). I've tried the two webcam programs but none of those works even a little bit or is understandable to me. This worked well if someone can PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WALK me through it. I've been struggling for two weeks trying to figure t his out. Hopefully now I"ve included more than enought info

This opens up another browser which than makes the url not linking to my main page.

Does anyone know what it should be? Here is what the settings are in the program but I'm lost. Before I did not have to use ANY HTML links. Here is my webcam code example:

I installed the ip camera modem and there doesn't seem to be many options for it. Can anyone tell me something--I would like the cam to appear on the front page of my website. When someone clicks on the link, it opens another browswer, I'd rather have it show up on the main page somewhere. Maybe I"m using the wrong program.

Can anyone tell me how to show the ipcamera webcam module on the front page of the index page..(I guess it's the index page???

After my hack I found an old backup. So I deleted everything on my server because of a virus that was uploaded and than uploaded my backup.

Question: I have a certain module that I'm interested in getting back. Now I have it uploaded to the server, and can someone please explain the exact steps in getting this module back up and running?
I can call my server and get them to restore the database for MySQL would that work???

ok heres the scoop, i'm using version 2.013.2 and it's old and I didn't upgrade so now I'm in trouble..my fault...someone hacked.
Because I have special modules..or at least one anyway, is it possible to use the same database if I completely download a bran new version of XOOPS and completely start from scratch? I want to keep a couple modules..at least one..and my users of course..but dont' really care about that as much as my data...at the very very least..just one module..well it's not a module but an addon..also my theme was designed and need to keep that..can someone please give me a quickie walkthrough and advise what I can do now..thanks

otherwise i cannot find the core files to reload version 2.013.2 because i need to fix my site...and than do upgrades..
