Also, lots of our members complain they cannot access half the pages in the topmenu. For instance, the 'IRC CHAT' link is inaccessable for éveryone but me. Even for all the other administrators.

Your IRC iframe looks ok to me, unless you mean the IRC login is failing. If so, the issue is with the page loading in the iframe:

Resized Image

Your TS3 iframe from gametracker is showing correctly for me also so it doesn't appear to be an issue with your site configuration. Ask your members to ensure the correct settings are enabled in their chosen browser.

As rod mentions please provide details regarding your server and xoops environment. This is key to troubleshooting your issues.

Post your specific issues separately and clearly, folks are more apt to respond to 'Iframe issue' than '(read before rage)'

Review the site using a standard theme, 7dana themes were abandoned after xoops version 2.13, the templates may not render as expected.

It looks like a group/permissions issue, check out the permission policies for the news module vs your xoops installation, ensuring the permissible groups exist in your xoops installation.

As jlm69 & irmtfan mention, version information is important, a mismatch is surely the cause.

edit:
also check the expiry dates for the news items.

Moodle is free (GPL), blackboard is commercial software. Both are pretty similar in use and use modules or plugins to enhance or provide various functionality required to run a virtual learning environment.

Check your php.ini, look for the directive:

upload_max_filesize 2M

Ensure the filesize is set large enough to accomodate your images. I think 2Mb is the default (used to be 8).

Try disabling the news module from the database. Look in table xoops_modules set the field isactive to 0 for news record.

Thanks mamba, got it from the Scarica ora! link. The direct link is giving a 403 error.

This sounds interesting, however there is no download link on page in the link, at least not one to your module.

Is this available via svn somewhere? Much easier to test if we can checkout the changes.

Move your data folders outside of web root and ensure that your host has something like mod security installed on the web server.
