Did anyone ever figure out a fix for this problem. I have the same problem and cannot seem to find how to amend it.

Oh and I hope he makes it so that the images directory is publicly writable at install. The package I have does not do this, I had to do it myself. I found no information about doing it.

I was getting the following error when adding an entry/uploading picture:
Resized Image
but fixed it by changing the images directory to publicly writable.

Ok, thanks for this, I'll persevere with the french version for now then.

I am playing with the aleatoire module because I could not figure what information was supposed to go where. Because it was in french, so I used google to help me make sense of the lang files.

Before I tried this, I tried to find an english version, but couldnt.

How does one make a language pack for a module..or should I say, what does one do other than translate the files in the language folder? What settings does one need to make in other files?

After your previous post, I took a look at my control panel (cpanel) and sure enough stats apps are provided there

Thanks for your help.

Thanks. I am almost as new to professional hosting as I am to XOOPS ;) but I'm a fast learner...afterall I hacked a module in only several hours, after only using XOOPS a few days tehee.

/me is still darn proud of herself for that ;)

Is there a way within core XOOPS to see what people are searching for with the inbuilt search engine?

I had looked into that module, but I have not seen a demonstration of it that looked remotely like what I want to do.

What I want is a module that will display small graphic ads that rotate, the same as the banners. I also want a second banner option. At the moment I cannot figure how (or even if it is possible) to display the inbuilt banner function in two ways. I can get it to display multiple times, but always both instances have the identical banner.

I am currently looking for a ads module to work alongside the inbuilt banner management system in the core system module. I would prefer it be as simple as the inbuilt banner system, and have capability for ad blocks in the left and or right columns.

Reading posts in this forum about AddsNew, it seems it is excessively complex and somewhat buggy.

Can anyone suggest any other ads modules?
