Hello, I have news and news2 modules installed at
My Site
(they are listed as "Missing Persons" & Unidentified Remains")

My question is this:

Does anyone know of a way to make text links to the various topics rather than using the drop down menu?

Basically, I want to change the block that came with the news menu to show all the links in text with maybe a little folder icon next to them.

I am starting to get a little used to everything , but I am stuck on how to accomplish this stuff.

I made 2 case submission forms located HERE

Is there any way to :

1)Have forms like the 2 case submission forms be entered directly into the news section after admin approval.
(or would another module work better????)

2)add to both forms a form question allowing multiply attachments to the form.

3)Change the "submit news" sub-menu item to "Sumit A Case".

4)change the words "News Archive" located HERE to "Case File Database"


I know this is alot of questions , but all help would be greatly appreciated. Basically, my goal is to make it so new cases can be added to the site via a form rather that the current way I am doing . NY Missing Persons

Hello, I am need of a module to make a missing persons & unidentified remains case file index for the above site.

To get an idea of what case files are currently like, please visit here.

Basics of the module I need :
or a hack of a current module)

1)Text link and picture link indexes of the cases
2)ability to list the cases in more than one category.
3)each descriptive detail to be searchable from a search form using drop down menu's.
(example: you can search for a white female missing since 1977)
4)a easy to use module admin area (i am new to php)

I am currently tinkering with a couple of shop modules to see if I can modify them to suit what I need, but since I am new to xoops, I may be wasting my time.

I was hoping someone could help in either modifing a current module or creating a new one for me.

I will greatly appreciate it.
