I have in the past installed modules, but am having a problem with two right now.

xt_conteudo Content Module
IMenu

I downloaded xt_conteudo from XOOPS.
I unzipped the contents to a temp directory. This created the structure c:\temp\xt_conteudo\xt_conteudo , where the xoops_version.php was in the second directory. Following the instructures in the doc's, I ftp'd the second directory to my site.

The site structure is:
/xoops/modules/xt_conteudo/ whereby the xoops_version.php is in the xt_conteudo directory.

However, after loggin in as administrator, I don't see xt_conteudo in the module adminstration page. I have logged out several time and hit the refresh screen several times.

the xt_conteudo folder does have atleast Read and Execute permissions.

I am having the same problem with another modules as well.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't recall a "block format" setting when I first created it. Is there a means to look at this after-the-fact ?

I did not see anything like "Block Formatting" on the edit page.

Thanks,

I was able to get the bbcode to work, but not the HTML. Working with HTML, does this require an HTML or PHP wrapper module ?

I have added a custom block to XOOPS and named it "welcome". I also set the Welcome block to center on the top_page, so it become part of the main page (home).

I am having difficulty understanding why the Blocks Administration \ Edit Block page will not format the text..ie

[bHello[/b] or [h1]hello[/h1].

I was hoping (or thinking) to use html/css code to format the text in the Welcome Block.

What am I missing ??

Hello,

I have installed the Agenda-X module. Is there a setting or some hack to get a printer function like the one used for the calendar module piCal-0.60 ?

Don

Ronaldus,

Did what you suggested. Works pretty good. It's a start until I am able to spend more time on this.

Much appreciated

Don

Hello,

After searching this site, I have come close to what may/ or may not be the problem...but I'm not sure.

This is the second XOOPS site I will have set up. Both websites are on the same ISP server, different domains.

Both sites were installed using the ISP provided scripts by using cpanel/fantastico.

Symptoms
After installing,
- I can get to the website ok.
- I can login ok, which gives me the USER menu + Administration Menu button on the NAVBAR.

Now...when I click Administration Menu, this takes me to a new screen(page) which simply says "This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed." with Submit and Cancel buttons directly below.

Hitting Submit results in a circular process with an error message in the upper left hand corner "failed open file" and another message in the middle of the screen that says "loggin you in..." , but then back to the first page

Very basically, I can logged in as a USER but I can't get to the administration section. I suspect this to be a permissions thing on the server, but not sure where to start.

I have seen two other posts with similiar symptoms, yet htere resolutions didn't appear to work for me. :(

Thanks in advance
