Take care! Your hosting is reseller. [1] Be careful with overselling.

First. What XOOPS version are you using?

don't forget use cache for all. [1] And also use only modules that work, any unuseful module will be remove.

Other tools that you have to use are: firebug + Yslow extension for firefox, then catch what module or xoops' section are slow...

CDN is another solution for static files in your site.

Edit you mainfile.php with new domain, and update system module.
After TURNO ON your update templates from system preferences. (Of course, clean up cache)
Tested it!

Thank You Mamba!
Don't forget CodeSniffer Netbeans Plugin

Well, for the moment only the version of CodeSniffer [1] is available in github and works in Linux Only :P

Why isn't this feature part of Core 2.4?

I am not expert, but I think this will be named "model", and how to acces it could be nice with Registry or function to load you model (In this case php file into class/ ) like xoops_getmodulehandler() not as Helper.

"Helper" definition could be a snippet or "Utility functions" for specific topic that reduce the redundancy of code.

I will contact you

What abour REST? It's more useful

Simon,
Maybe you could make "XOOPS Web Services" and distribute NUSOAP like a new package (Like Framework) called XOOPS SOAP Service.
(It enabled support SOAP for XOOPS)

Hi
Your code it works, maybe yo need to reduce lenght title, you may put it on DIV with Background image.

Another thing. I use twitterjs for custom block engine that is more fast
