Excellent, I have it working now. Thanks Frank.

Two tips for any future users; use the application "Subtitle Workshop" and save your files as *.srt files.

Frank!

Great to hear from you. As you can see I'm finding some great uses for your software. This time around I'm using it to translate a Blackfoot prayer by my grandmother.

The modified phraseology module you coded for me is great by the way. I had a smile on my face with your reply in Blackfoot.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it out now. I'll keep in touch.

I've put up a flv video to my site here: http://kainaistudies.com/modules/webshow/singlelink.php?lid=83

As I understand it it is possible to use subtitles that overlay the video. Can anyone tell me where to put the subtitle file, which type of file to use, and any other tips or suggestions?

Thanks.

I saw that link earlier and I swear that that page wouldn't render. Really .

Anyhow, thank you. This is a last ditch effort on my part to save a 2.03 install that has gone flaky on me in the past month or two with blank pages after submissions. Extgallery may be the option I have to look at now :(.

I worked it out, somewhat. I remember I wasn't able to figure out how to set a path in my mainfile.php for protector and I deactivated the protector module. Now I am able to see my newly installed modules.

Sucky workaround but It's working.

:)

After an extended period I came back to one of my sites and am unable to upload and install any module.

Anyone have a lead off the top of their head?

Thanks.

This update is great news. Which software do I use in the meantime if I'm going to be wanting to upgrade to this new install? I am going to be installing onto a production site.

If I use the 2.2.2, can I update to this?

Thanks for the answers and thanks for the effort in making this update happen.

I'm glad that I've been able to help. It's nice when after you find a solution that you report back to the thread.

Y'all owe me and Herve a beer each. hehe. ;)

Just a note conversing with Herve, he says that he's had to apply this hack to all his sites with the latest core (2.0.18.1). Good to know and I thought I'd pass that on.

Thanks again Herve.
