I've been using this theme on one of my sites too, but haven't updated that site to 2.0.15 yet because I haven't had the time to attempt to get the theme working.

I am still implenting hacks and testing the hole case...

Your web site looks great...some very nice mods of an already great theme. Did you ever get to the point of releasing your hacked version of Xoops?

I had an earlier version of this module running for the past few months and the module itself worked fine, but the block would not display properly for me, so I never used it the block. When I saw the post in January about an updated version that was supposed to address problems with the TS block, I downloaded and tried upgrading over my previous install.

I was then not able to get the admin utility to work, and the webpost was no longer working either. I tried un-installing the module completely and re-installing the new version from scratch, with no success.

For now, I have restored the original working version and all seems good again...and the block actually seems to be working now...go figure.

I have installed the latest version (for XOOPS 2.0.x) into my 2.0.13.2 site, and when I try to get to the admin page, all I get is a blank screen. I turned on debugging, but don't get any error messages...just a blank screen. Anybody have suggestions?

Did you ever find a solution?

I have been having the same problem with XoopsGallery. The only version that I can use without getting the backslashes preceeding every quote and apostrophe character is 1.3.3.3.

I submitted a request in the support forums on the xoopsgallery.org web site but was never able to get this resolved.

I made sure all Magic_Quotes directives were turned off in php.ini, and I even created a .htaccess file that contained the commands to turn off magic_quotes, but that hasn't helped either.

Up until recently, it was only the XoopsGallery giving me this problem, but then I went and installed the PM hack v4.7 on my system and now all the Private Messages are having the same problem with backslashes.

Magic quotes in XoopsGallery

I run two XOOPS installs on one Linux server. I am using the XoopsGallery 1.3.3.4 in both installs. I have magic quotes turned off in the php.ini file on the server.

On one site, I can use single and double quote (',") characters just fine for album names, descriptions, etc. On the other site, however, every time one of the quote characters is used, it gets preceeded by a backslash (\) character. It appears to be only within the Gallery module on that site where this happens. Quotes entered in the Forums, News, etc. all work fine.

I have been trying to figure out how this is happening, but haven't had any success as yet.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks....

::EDIT::
I tried XoopsGallery 1.3.3.3 on one site and I don't have the problem with quotes using that version. I also tried upgrading one site to 1.3.3.5, yet I still have the same quotes problem. The problem appears to be with versions 1.3.3.4 and 1.3.3.5.

I found the problem a while ago and got the Teamspeak module to work. It ended up being something really simple...or stupid depending on how you look at it.

My server wouldn't show up in the list as long as there was an apostrophe in the server name. I was using GoatBoy's Teamspeak Server as the name of my TS server, so I removed the apostrophe and renamed the server to GoatBoys TS Server and the XOOPS module worked like a charm.

I have loaded up the XOOPS Teamspeak module and it is running on my site, but I am unable to get stats from the Teamspeak server that is running on the same box.

I followed the directions to edit the config.php and admin/config.php files with my database info, and I ran the install file to do the installation. I have also modified the server settings on my Teamspeak server to point to the webpost.php file on the XOOPS server, but I still can't get any stats to display.

On the Teamspeak server settings, I used the www.mysite.com/modules/xoops_teamspeak/webpost.php link as well as trying to use localhost...etc. since the Teamspeak and XOOPS servers are running on the same Linux box.

Can anybody think of anything else that I could try to make this work? Does it sound like I may have missed something in the install or config?

Thanks...

I haven't put my site online yet...that will come once I'm happy with the site's development.

For now, I'm mainly looking to support UT2K3 and UT2K4 servers...and Doom 3 servers when available.

I have downloaded and looked at the Team module and it looks like a great piece of work, but it wasn't really suited to my requirements. My site will be more of a "social" gaming site, so handling player ranks and booking servers, matches, etc. is not required. I'm aiming for something a bit more basic that would provide a simple team roster list with pictures and personal info about the team, along with the status of our game servers and Teamspeak and Ventrilo servers.
