I am trying to build up a small site for some gamers, and I have found a few Nuke modules that would be ideal for what I am trying to incorporate into my web site, but I am unsure about the ability to use or port Nuke modules into XOOPS.

Is there and general info available on the differences between PHP-Nuke and XOOPS modules and what needs to be done to use Nuke modules in Xoops?

Thanks...

it's no simple process, but i kinda specialize in porting nuke modules to XOOPS (i.e.- Fatalquery, NukeTreasury (ported as Donations), etc)

what modules are you looking at porting?

Mainly looking for gaming modules such as server info, clan roster, etc. Nuke modules like OFX-Clanlist and VWar are kinda nice. I wouldn't mind learning how to do some of this myself so that I wouldn't have to leech everything from someone else but, in the meantime, I am still looking around for some ready made modules that would suit my needs.

I haven't put my site online yet...that will come once I'm happy with the site's development.

For now, I'm mainly looking to support UT2K3 and UT2K4 servers...and Doom 3 servers when available.

I have downloaded and looked at the Team module and it looks like a great piece of work, but it wasn't really suited to my requirements. My site will be more of a "social" gaming site, so handling player ranks and booking servers, matches, etc. is not required. I'm aiming for something a bit more basic that would provide a simple team roster list with pictures and personal info about the team, along with the status of our game servers and Teamspeak and Ventrilo servers.

If you are going to port over something you might want to take a look at this clan roster. It is very basic and will fit most everyones needs to promote their Clan

here is the link to the download.

I would be very interested in this also and willing to donate to anyone that is willing to port it over from php nuke
