Well the Forum module is not cached ...

The problem is that when a user in a group with access rights to a private forum tries to view the private forum or any posts in the forum, they are not allowed to view it... but the private forum and it's posts does appear in the main forums index and recent topics block along with the public forums...
but they just cant be accessed

hmm... could caching have anything to do with this problem? like maybe caching of certain modules? or blocks?

It would be really nice to unexpire something that you may mistakenly had set to expire...
...seems like a simple and logical enough thing to have...

Hi, im having this same exact problem...
im running 2.0.7.1 now... and everything works as it should for the admin group,
but for a user of the regular registered user group (whom has been assigned access rights) cannot see or access the private forum ...

any clues?


ps. hmm when i added the MySQL data... i just added the table structure for the forum_group_access table... should i have added the structure of the entire mysql.sql file???

Do you have any caching turned on?
caching of block or modules?

...because i have found caching to produce problems similar to this...

for example, caching of the user login block can cause someone elses login information to be always cached, so when another user goes to login, soemone elses username is already there... this has happened to me on all versions of XOOPS that ive used with caching

well, all the relavant images already have alt tags...
... but im focusing on the keywords issue

actually ... it seems like its almost perfectly compatable... there has been some recoding of the theme for XOOPS 2.x,
... but this problem with meta description still there and is the only thing that seems to be a problem.
