Do you know that you can install multiple XF-Section by changing the definitions in "config.php"? I've never used XF-Section & Wf-Section at once, nor installed multiple xf-section. And the multiple-install, as the readme says, may cause some conflicts. But it seems to be worth trying...
Or you can ask some questions directly to the author of xf-section.

I heard some people used My-albumP as a review module. It could be another choice since it is also duplicatable, though it depends on what do you want to do, and could require some changes on templates...

And, Tiny-D. It is also duplicatable & supports Pear-wiki-grammar, which would be a tempting feature if you love wiki syntax.

Plus My-Review seems to be stable enough...

You can try "MultiMenu 1.14-04 Japanese edition", which enables you to create 4 original menus that works like the original menu.
http://malaika.s31.xrea.com/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=2&lid=9

So create 2 menus: the menu for anonymous which doesn't contain post news on its list, and the menu for admin users which contains the all.

Grammars(in case it doesn't contain any english document):
[module_name]
[module_name]views.php?id=xxx
makes a link to a certain module if it is installed.

+[module_name]
+[module_name]views.php?id=xxx
The submenu is always shown

@[module_name]
@[module_name]views.php?id=xxx
The submenu is shown if necessary

I'm afraid to say I've not installed this module. And it could require the multibyte extension(mb_???), which means that it could not work on your server. Please check your PHP before you install.

Hehehe, I'm sure GIJOE would think it's high time he changed the name of myalbum-p to something original if he read this thread.

Surely Xoopsgallery and XCGallery are powerful gallery modules. However when it comes to its flexibility, Myalbum-p cannot be inferior to them. You can easily install multiple album, and one of them can be used for the alternative to the core imagemanager, which make it easier to upload images while you are posting news and blogs. As regard imagemagik, it properly detected imagemagik on my server.

Anyway, all of them are worth installing on your TEST server at least.

Welcome to the world of Xoops, pballmama.

P.S. Note that myalbum and myalbum-p are quite different.

Well, I'm not familiar with the uploader class. But you can install myalbum-p as the alternative image manager. Plus you don't need to worry about the future upgrade since myalbum-p can exchange the photo-data with the core image manager.

"include/comment_view.php" should be the one as far as i know.
line 178
Quote:
$navbar .= '&nbsp;<input type="button" onclick="self.location.href=\''.$postcomment_link.''.$link_extra.'\'" class="formButton" value="'._CM_POSTCOMMENT.'" />';

Replace the above line with the following one:
Quote:
$navbar .= '&nbsp;<a href="'.$postcomment_link.$link_extra.'">'._CM_POSTCOMMENT.'</a>';
And you can have a simple text link instead of javascript button.

I've seen "contact plus" at Xoops.jp. But it cannot generate multiple page as far as I know.

Anyway, now that we have fomulaire, which would suit your need.

Personally, I use Liaise as rabideau does.

Well, "mbstring" extension needs to be enabled to use B-wiki. If you run your XOOPS on your own server, you can just install that extension. Or you can download "jcode_1.34.zip",(download it from this site) and then extract the zip file to the root of b-wiki as following:
-+--- mbstring.php          -r--
   +-+-
jcode_1.34/           dr-x

+--- readme.txt          -r--
     +---
jcode.phps          -r--
     +---
jcode_wrapper.php   -r--
     +---
code_table.ucs2jis  -r--
     +---
code_table.jis2ucs  -r--

As regards the admin page, you need to edit admin/index.php to use b-wiki on WINDOWS.

/modules/bwiki/admin/index.php line-15
Quote:
BEFORE:
ini_set('include_path', ini_get('include_path').":$bwikidir");

AFTER:
ini_set('include_path', ini_get('include_path').";$bwikidir");
Change the "colon" to "semicolon", and b-wiki should work.

Actually, bwiki has many options to suit your need... That's why bwiki is powerfull anf flexible enough to satisfy many people... Anyway, most of the options are included in pukiwiki.ini.php. So you can ask babelfish...lol And you can define your own so called "wiki rule" in rules.ini.php.

I've updated the English manual for the Wiki-rule. You can check wiki rule for the latest edition.

B-wiki might be an alternative to phpwiki and wakka modules. B-wiki is based on "Pukiwiki 1.4x" which is the top notch wiki in Japan. I think it is worth checking as long as you don't dislike file-based-wiki.
http://ishii.mydns.jp/modules/bwiki/index.php?cmd=read&page=B-Wiki%2Fsnapshot
(bwiki-20031130.tar.bz2 is my recommendation.)

Ufortunately, it doesn't have the complete English manuals, though I & other voluteers have translated some of them.

You can check the latest document for the wiki rule at the following link:
http://pukiwiki.sourceforge.jp/dev/index.php?cmd=read&page=%3ACategoryDev%2FDocument%2FFormattingSandbox

and here is the link for the manual of plugin.(only in japanese for the time being.)
http://pukiwiki.org/index.php?PukiWiki%2F%E3%83%97%E3%83%A9%E3%82%B0%E3%82%A4%E3%83%B3%2F1.4

Use babelfish!

Just one other strange thing here; the "powered" ink in the pscounter points to this address "http://lunarhouse.com/stats/view_stats_d.php/admin.php" The directory structure of this link is correct, up to /stats/ then it calls 2 files. admin.php does not exist in my file set!

Thanks again for any help, are there any other calls within the scripts that assume everything is all in the root directory?? This could be the problem if so.

Richard

Well, there seems to be something wrong on your setting. The address is supposed to be "http://lunarhouse.com/stats/admin.php" instead of "http://lunarhouse.com/stats/view_stats_d.php/admin.php". I have no idea why your value( the url to view_stats_d.php) is not correctly stripped...

Anyway, you don't need to start with "http://" for the absolute path to "view_stats_d.php".
(So you can copy & paste the following:
lunarhouse.com/stats/view_stats_d.php
)
This is the only possibility I can imagine to solve the problem.

And view_stats_d.php is the only file which should be moved to the root of php-stat.

By the way, I've just updated my php-stat to 0.18. There are many changes... But I soon realized it cannot catch the visits of those who don't activate "javascript" and "referrer".

Here are some hacks to track these people...

php-stats.php line 25
Replace the whole line with
Quote:
if(isset($_GET['NS_url'])) $NS_url=htmlspecialchars(addslashes(str_replace("aAmMpP","&",$_GET['NS_url']))); else $NS_url="";

Insert the following code to your theme.html
Quote:

<{php}>$xoops_url=XOOPS_URL;
$ref="";$ref = $xoops_url.$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
$ref = htmlspecialchars(addslashes($ref));
$ref=str_replace("&","aAmMpP",$ref);
echo <<<EOM
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://your-domain.com/stats/php-stats.js.php"></script>
<noscript><img alt="" src="http://your-domain.com/stats/php-stats.php?NS_url=$ref" /></noscript>
EOM;
<{/php}>
maybe "$ref = htmlspecialchars(addslashes($xoops_url.$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']));" is better....

If you install XOOPS in your sub-directory $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] also returns the name of sub-directory, I suppose. In this case, you also need to strip it at php-stats.php...

------
Is the bug related with "code" solved already? Anyway, the "&" in the code should be "& a m p;"

I suppose you forgot inserting "the tracking tag" on your web site. Did you add the following HTML tag to somewhere in your web site?
Quote:

<script language="javascript" src="http://your-web-site.com/stats/php-stats.js.php"></script>
<noscript><img src="http://your-web-site.com/stats/php-stats.php" border="0" alt=""></noscript>

Well, I should have mentioned how to install this module. Thx brash.
