those are the queries that you have posted. eg

"None All Errors (0) Deprecated (0) Queries (35) Blocks (5) Extra (23) Timers(9) "

if there are any numbers after "all errors", click on "all errors" and they will be shown. That is what is needed.

another thing that might be worth doing is disabling the articles, xdonation and newbb, see if the problem is still there, then turn on each module one at a time testing for the problem as you go.

like joomla, there are modules that work with one version and not with another. The older modules are usually the ones that cause problems.

i would go for 2.5.4 though as suggested above.


(from some one who uses xoops cos he couldn't get his head round joomla

I have had this with a few modules, as have others.
go to your module folde eg news. look for the folder named "sql"
ther will be some files in there that you need to ...
find TYPE= and replace with ENGINE=
that should fix it

useing content page... seems to only use the first part,,, not the whole article... rats
or am i being a dim wit again ?

putting news/fm/ams article content in a block

i have an article in fm content eg: /modules/fmcontent/content.php?topic=trophies&id=11&page=jim-t

i would like to display that article in a block.

is that possible.. and if so, how would i go about doing it?
(note: i am not a programer.. so the more precise the detail the better please)

this is caused by the excellent defacer module
in defacer prefs
"Enable jgrowl redirecting system" = off to get get rid of it.

am i in the right place? (it my first post )
firstly.. i am not a programmer, nor a dev... just a user and quite new to xoops.
I am having trouble with file upload.
i need to be able to add files like
kml - google earth
kmz - google earth
igc - basically text
docx - word
zip - you know what that is.

if i try zip.. protector spits it out.
all the others just tell me they are not accepted
i have fiddled with the mime type box abit, but doesn't seem to make a difference.

How do i create a new "section"

I am new to xoops and slowly getting my head round it.

i understand how to assign blocks to various places, eg top page, articles, gallery etc.
But what i am trying to find out is how to create a new "section", eg. "second page" (like "top page" but separate) so that i can add some blocks to that new "section"?
