AM Events

AM Events is a simple calendar module for XOOPS. I'm using this one because the previous calendar modules I used are complicated (e.g. taking time zones into account), which limits usability.

I know it works on XOOPS 2.1 and XOOPS 2.2. Did anybody test it on XOOPS 2.3???

Thanks!

Re: Event calendar/registration

Take care about the usability of your events module. Some really make things more complicated than it should be (for most users) by taking time zones into account.

I liked the one from Zoulou (Extcal), but it still was too complicated. For this reason, I switched over to AM Events.

I'll open another thread to ask if anybody tested that one for XOOPS 2.3. Update: done so!

@ urban:

It would be great if this would be an option instead of an amendment: not everybody would like to use that

Re: Xoops and OpenID

Unfortunately, updating to XOOPS 2.0.18.2 did not make a difference. I'm receiving the same error message on more than one site.

Any other suggestions?

Re: Restore Website from backup

I would look at the date.

I'm not sure if I can advise you as I do not know much about virusses. Nevertheless, I suggest that you mention the admin panel that you use (DirectAdmin? Cpanel? Ensim? Something else?)

Re: Restore Website from backup

How did you create a backup? What admin panel do you use?

Re: How do I change charset=UTF-8

How about the compatibility for people who upgrade? The data in my database is not necessarily UTF-8, is it?

Re: Opinion War -- Battle of the Editors

What is the best option if you can't use Javascript on some computers (e.g. the visitors of the mobile edition of your site).

I tried DHTML, but it wasn't very usable. Textarea works, but if you try to edit the text in an other editor, it makes a mess of the content (the site I'm making can be accessed in both desktop computers and mobile devices).

Re: Herko is selling XOOPS.COM (domain donated for XOOPS in 2004)

Please restrict to facts to avoid escalation:

- fact: the domain name is for sale.
- question: was the domain name donated to the XOOPS project or to the XOOPS Foundation that is registered with number 08129745 at the Dutch Chamber of commerce (source: kvk.nl ).
- question: if the domain name was donated to the XOOPS foundation, was it registered in the name of the XOOPS foundation?
- question: is he selling the domain name... or did he drop it and is Sedo Parking now selling the name.
