Runeher, did you do this bit of the install instructions?

"3. Create a folder "_php_consumer" under XOOPS_TRUST_PATH and
change the permission so that it will be writable by the web server."

Sure did! The _php_consumer folder contains 3 folders: associations, nonces and temp. The temp folder contains 5 files with names like this: php_openid_filestore_Dwu7jP

chmod is set to 755 for these 3 folders.

Re: Xoops and OpenID

Has what Nat said here got anything to do with it, OpenID seems to work for me the folders and files were created automatically and I have set them to 777

"Your server probably is working in safe mode.

In that case, you need to remove _php_consumer under xoops_trust_path and recreate
associations/
nonces/
temp/
manually and give them 777 permission.

In the safe mode, apache created folders would not work."

Re: Xoops and OpenID

I installed the module OpenID. When I try to login with an openid, it connects to the OpenID provider. Then it asks some info and when my browser is redirected to my site, I receive this error message:

msgOpenID authentication failed'return_to' not signed

)

(I don't know what info is safe to share, so I added a lot of xxxxxxx)

I followed the installation procedure according to the README file. As my server was in PHP safe mode, I manually made a folder called "_php_consumer" with its 3 subfolders (associations, nonces, temp) in the XOOPS Trust Path folder and I set the permissions to 777 (job done with FileZilla).

I also editted /modules/openid/library/Auth/OpenID/CryptUtil.php changing

define('Auth_OpenID_RAND_SOURCE''/dev/urandom');

in

define('Auth_OpenID_RAND_SOURCE'null);

XOOPS version = XOOPS 2.0.16

Any ideas how to get it working??

Re: Xoops and OpenID

Unfortunately, updating to XOOPS 2.0.18.2 did not make a difference. I'm receiving the same error message on more than one site.

Any other suggestions?
