I turned it off in the admin section, accessed my home page and blankness. All I receive is a white blank screen when accessing the XOOPS site. I tried accessing the admin area as well without luck.

I am getting the same problem as I am trying to install XOOPS in multiple locations. Everything appears to work as I go through the installation however if I refresh the insert data page, I get the errors on top:

I just wanted to say "You are the Man!" I was extremely stressed about this problem as I have lost a grip of information from my DBs in the past.

This fix worked great for the problem that you mentioned.

I just wanted to mention that if others are having a similar problem, it is very easy to look at the xoops_session table in MySQL and see that it is corrupt. It shows "in use" as the type. Use the control panel's 'Check It'and it will say, "table is corrupt.

Hello all,

I have been running XOOPS very sucessfully for about a year now and am extremely happy. In fact, I recently have been commisioned to build a new php-based site and did research on the numerous other OO portal systems. Forget that, XOOPS is the best, hands down.

Anyways, my current XOOPS site is in trouble. It is running perfectly smoothly but I can not add any new modules or even a new poll. I need to take action before I lose everything.

Is there a method to do some type of "overlay install" that maintains all of the information but cleans up the mess (similar to Windows 98 Overlay installs)? Or would it be best for mie to install 2.07 in a new directory and spend a couple days re-installing all of my current work?

I have done this numerous times. (not that cool)

For me, I would visit the login page:

MYSITE/xoops-2.0.5/html/user.php?xoops_redirect=%2Fxoops-2.0.5%2Fhtml%2Fuser.php

Log In as the administrator.

Then the admin page should be:

MYSITE/xoops-2.0.5/html/admin.php

I am not sure what happened over the past couple of days but I no longer have the ability to load new modules to XOOPS 2.0.6. I have tried WIWI, WIKI, XOOPS Gallery and others. I achieve the admin screen and when I pull up the index.php page the page comes up with all of the proper blocks along the sides. . .ONLY THE ACTUAL MODULE CONTENT IS NOT AVAILABLE. The center is blank.

I hope that there is a reasonable explination.

So I have been looking around, and I have seen a couple sites using the shutterfly feature. I have a demand for this functionality on my site.

Is there now a module download including the working shutterfly functionality? Or do I have to use these posts to put my novice php skills to the test?
