I just found this, Smartybc.

(http://www.smarty.net/docs/en/bc.tpl)

a backward compatibility wrapper that allegedly allows <{php}> to be used in S3 as a potential workaround.

Some time ago, it was suggested that Wishcraft team up with "module buddies" that would benefit module creation/revision with his conceptual/technical/programming strengths, and supplement it with their more thorough follow-through strengths.

Recently, when trying out the X-Payments module, I was delighted to have everything work correctly.... this from someone that stopped trusting any module prefaced by the letter X.

On closer look, it was noticed that this module version (originated by Wishcraft) was associated with several names supporting the module , including Wishcraft, Mariann (themer) if I remember, Mamba, and someone else.

This was a good example of successful cross disciplinary module development (teamwork) as you mentioned, that while worked for Wishcrafts situation, would make perfect sense for just about any other module.

Prioritizing resources by module value would make it manageable.

Hold on think I found it. Went a little deeper into phpMyAdmin and found a repair selection that seems to have worked.

Looks to be good and will do further testing and report back.

Goffy thank you

Good direction and was able to check on a few.

caches are set
xoops_data>caches>xoops_cache - 0777

secure.php"* XOOPS secure file”
- 0644

I was able to turn debug mode on manually. Common error seems to be:
Error number: 145
Error message: Table './paflyfi1_xoops/xoops_session' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

While in phpMyAdmin it shows that table "in use"

I tried to get into the xoops_session table thru phpMyAdmin and get dialog "'./paflyfi1_xoops/xoops_session' is marked as crashed and should be repaired”. I can’t get into that table. My knowledge of phpMyAdmin and sql stop there. Any suggestions would be great. I would rather ask before I do something stupid. Thanks so far.

hi dkile

and tried to repair Xoops Config

did you try to turn on debug-mode manually:
- goto database (phpAdmin)
- select table config
- change config "debug_mode" from 0 to 1

if debug is working then, post errors.

additionally you can check
- are the cache folders of xoops writeable (xoops_data/caches/...)?
- are the Settings for database connection still valid (check xoops_data/data/secure.php)

maybe you can use some JS to add a class to input fields like this
<script type="text/javascript">
    $(
document).ready(function(){
        $(
'input[type=text]').addClass('form-control');
    }
script>

Goffy,

I have done both and deleted my cookies on my browser too. Not saying I even repaired the PHPadmin correctly. PHPadmin is not a strong suite for me.

Thanks

Hi, just wondering if anyone has the knowledge or the time to help with the css code to make form input text boxes responsive, like the contact form for example.

I was hoping Angelo would reply, but I think he may be away.

This theme looks and functions extremely well and is only let down with the form input text boxes. I have looked everywhere and just can't find where and what css to add.

Thanks for your time,
Marty
