I agree it should be build in. On the other hand it is very easy to do this and for me it's actually handy to have two separate themes.. one for desktop and one for mobile (you could even make more, like e.g. for tablets).
This is because the desktop versions have around 70% more content (for the websites I had to make) and with a separate theme for mobile I'm more flexible as to what to include.

Well.. one small reason might be the fact that Google dislikes non-clean and unreadable urls ?

We don't plan to add any new features to 2.5.8 - it is pretty much in maintenance mode, i.e. we will make sure that it is compatible with PHP 5.6.x, and fix any security issue, if they happen. We might add some very minor changes/improvements, but only if they don't impact existing modules.

The new features should go to XOOPS 2.6.0 - so please study the new upcoming version, get involved with the Core development, as well and with the work Eduardo is doing on the "Presentation Layer", and help us to make it the best XOOPS ever!!!

Problem is not in imagemanager, but in database.

/modules/system/admin.php?fct=groups do not write permission to database.

I don´t know why :-/

Since 2.6 represents a significant coding transformation, I am raising this flag again to point out that it makes no sense to include group permissions on every module, and to leave PM and whose online limited to all groups only.

What point is there in setting people up with their own group based exclusivity (i.e. family only, a church group, charity organization etc) when XOOPS permits any other user in any other group to:

1 initiate/carry out communication with any other member in any other group.

2 see/monitor what any other member in any other group is online, and what they are doing.

Despite the fact most modules provide group permissions, but the main communication and online status methods do not, XOOPS will remain limited as a single community option.

Since 2.6 is to be applauded to have already have acted on the bcrypt reccomendation, the above issues seem to have gone to the wayside.

What do you think of including in the core url rewrite in XOOPS 2.5.8?

In some modules as publisher, fmcontent, xnews already exists, it would be very useful add it directly into the core to attract more users to Xoops.

Since XOOPS 2.6.0 still goes for long time
