1) Sorry to hear that you lost some content! But always make a database backup before you do anything related to the database, unless you know what you're doing

2) Which "Classified" module are you using? Which version?

3) To delete the "xf21_vp_reports" table, you would have to go to the phpMyAdmin and delete it manually.

Please note: Publisher should have no problems with the "vp_reports" table.

The "vp_reports" table is part of "VideoTube", but because "VideoTube" is not maintained on XOOPS anymore, use instead "XoopsTube". I'll try to test it this weekend on PHP7 and XOOPS 2.5.8 and provide an update.

4) When you talk about "uploading videos by the user" - you mean a physical file, or only a link to something else?

Mamba,

Thanks for your help, again. So, I followed your instructions and I had to uninstall and reinstall to which, I will not do it again. Lost all content except, I did not do the forum. Everything seems to be working good except two things. One, I have the Classified module and it works alright to the point that no one can place an ad. I click on "Add a Classified Ad in this Category" and it takes me back to the beginning. Though I have several categories; when I'm in the admin panel to place an ad, the categories are not recognized. I have set the permissions for every category for the users.

Also, after the reinstall of the modules, two would not reinstall. The Publisher 1.03 Beta 2 and the Video Tube 1.86. After trying to install I get this notice: Table 'xf21_vp_reports' already exists

What I would like is a module to upload videos directly to the site by the user. Don't care for YouTube, though a link option for the user is okay.

The gWiki module is being updated for XOOPS 2.5.8 and PHP 7

The updated version gBook 1.0 RC-5 is available now for testing.

The gWiki (geekwright Wiki), is a XOOPS module which implements a wiki based on the WikiCreole 1.0 specification. In addition to the basics as defined in the WikiCreole spec, the wiki features several powerful extensions, giving it great flexibility as a content authoring and presentation tool. It also features an equally flexible permission capability, making a single instance suitable for multiple collaborative efforts, each with their own policies.

I try in 5.6 php version, seem to be no problem.

I have just installed 2.5.8 beta 2 on and the module newbb didn´t work, i get error starting it after install only. (no category etc created)

i have it testing in http://prueba3.uskola.com/modules/newbb/

In admin it says i have not.

The folder '/home/admin/web/prueba3.uskola.com/public_html/uploads/newbb/' does not exist

The folder '/home/admin/web/prueba3.uskola.com/public_html/uploads/newbb/thumbs/' does not exist

extgallery module has created folders in uploads automatically.

You might need to install the plain XOOPS, without any modules to see if the server is working correctly.

Once this is done, then you can try to move the modules.

What other modules do you have?

Maybe you could try to install XOOPS 2.5.8-RC2 for testing, and then install your module, and see if it works. Your XOOPS 2.3.3b is way too old, and you're not taking advantage of many of the improvements done over the years...

APCal 2.22 Beta-1 is a private Beta, because the module is officially maintained by Dedale from http://xoops.antiquespromotion.ca/, and it's up to him to release it.
