Resized Image

APCal 2.22 Beta-1 is a private Beta, because the module is officially maintained by Dedale from http://xoops.antiquespromotion.ca/, and it's up to him to release it.

But you can still help with testing!

Re: APCal 2.22 Beta-1 available for testing (XOOPS 2.5.8, PHP 7)

hhttp://xoops.antiquespromotion.ca/ is dead

I downloaded and installed this version on
XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.7.2
PHP Version 5.4.45
mySQL Version 5.5.49

with the xbootstrap theme

After realizing the subdir on the server has to be APCal not apcal I got the admin page to work

But when I click on "Go to module" or the module link on the home pages I get the error

None All Errors (1) Deprecated (0) Queries (12) Blocks (0) Extra (2) Timers(3)
Errors
Warning: require_once(/modules/APCal /class/APCal.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file /modules/APCal/index.php line 80

on a white screen

I'm not sure why the error because /modules/APCal /class/APCal.php is there

any ideas?

It's the extra spaces placed at the end of the defines for $mod_path and $mod_url in lines 75 and 76 respectively in ./index.php. Remove the space before the final double-quote (") and that should fix that particular problem.

Thanks, that did it.

I hope someone fixes it on github

More errors

when I try to activate the minical block I get the error

Warning: require_once(/modules/APCal /class/APCal.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file /modules/APCal/blocks/apcal_mini_calendar.php line 71

I entered a 3 day event in June. the map for the event now shows over the weeks calendar, but the event doesn't show in the list

In the backend under the events manager I can see the event

but when I try to click on the title I get 404 - Not Found

when i click on the edit box i get 404 - Not Found

and the events manager box in the index tab shows 1 upcoming event

Also, on the front end, the sharing buttons are not in a straight line

I found some more blank spaces, in /modules/APCal/blocks/apcal_mini_calendar.php

Same as above mentioned by zyspec

I deleted them.

Now I get a new error

Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in file /include/cp_header.php line 31

and that kills the entire website. even with the block disabled i get that error

Is this module ONLY for 2.5.8?

Maybe, but the previous version wasn't and it doesn't work either

and why are modules being done for 2.5.8 when the last stable release was 2.5.7.2?

I looked at this module and in my opinion this module should die.
No developer should invest time in this module.
