Hi,
So far this version of the CMS looks good...
I like the streamlined menus and the removal of default clutter on the main screen.
I also like the dropping of the nuke name which I think is kind of stupid to keep... although XOOPS isn't much better... it will do...
My question is how one would go about getting multiple language support especially Spanish and Portuguese... among others... Will this need to be driven by the individual or will it be easily supported as in Postnuke...
Happy New Year... And thanks for turning vaporware into software! Ciao... DK

Hmm.. you're right, maybe we should add "Create DB" option in the install script.

Just downloaded RC1 and got it working - nice , very nice!

Small problem with the install though - you need to create a "xoops" database first , blank without any tables, before running install.php - otherwise, it wont work.

i'm using the usual stuff - linux, mysql

Thanks, that did the trick for me!

Man, I am going to enjoy this - all I need now is a decent "free" hosting site and I'll be away.

I will let you know when I manage to get a site up and running.

Go to the "groups" section in "system admin" and give necessary admin rights to your group.
The default admin group only have "system admin" and "news" modules admin rights by default.

hope this works.
