Hallo,
I have a problem.
I tried to install XOOPS but something goes wrong!
Xoops installation doesn't create tables and doesn't insert rows in the table.
give just a blank page after I insert the correct MySQL serverm, login and password for db, name ecc....

I use:
PHP 4.3.10-16
apache2 2.0.54-5
Mysql 4.1.11a-4sarge2
Linux Debian

Hi there!

Have you looked at the FAQ for the blank page?

Try those steps and then post any errors that you get here. Someone will be happy to help if they had more information!

Thank you for answering me.
I just read your tutorial but my problem is in configuration time: It can' create tables and populate it.
the problem should be a version of PHP, MySQL and Xoops.
OPS! I forget XOOPS version : I use xoops-2.0.13.2.zip

hi..
i m pretty new to XOOPS and m trying to install xoops. i m having the same problem. i tried the faqs mentioned above but the end result is still a blank page. Please help me out.

Download and check you followed the XOOPS installation guide - available here

Check and recheck the faq on blank pages - you may have missed something.

Thank you for your help.
The problem was mysql_connect: I don't have installed PHP-Mysql libray.
phpmyadmin and other applications work fine with mysql, probably because they use the pear library.
