My admin cpanel which shows the modules has disappeared????

All I see is the top bar, the text links to the news, cpanel, logout and homepage. Under, just the word menu and then the footer.

Nothing else?

How do I restore things without losing the content?

Thank you

HELP!

Click on the above link in my previous post on this thread, follow the instructions in that faq.

Double check that the chmod settings for the cache folder is 777.

CHmodding 777 did not work and the faq, did not work.

the site works fine, but when i click on the administration menu on User Menu, all I see is thw admin cpanel with no modules.

This is a pretty big disaster...

FTP to the cache folder, download adminmenu.php, open in a text editor. Are the modules listed in this file?

All of the modules seem to be listed.

Since I have been trying every trick in the book for the last couple of hours and desperately searching for any reference to my problem, I have come short.

It seems no one else had this problem with an existing site, just with new installations.

Whew...I have managed to make the modules reappear in the admin area so far by removing the cache/. I can now access the modules with the serious exception of the system module!

When I press the system module, I get an error 500 page!!

So now the issue is getting the system module to work.

HELP PLEASE
