As I have said some times before - maybe not to you, but to the world in general: If you cannot be hedgehogged to turn on php debug and note error messages, I cannot really be hedgehogged into replying to you, asking you to do so. You should by now know that when you encounter problems like these, you should turn on php debug and look for error messages.

okay, i finally done the debug thingy.

this is what i got from the screen

"Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/website/public_html/modules/system/admin/tplsets/main.php on line 93"

and on line 93 for main.php i get

echo '
  • '.$module->getVar('name').' ['._LIST.' ('.$filecount.')]
  • ';

    same thing happened here. got it back after reinstalling modules i removed because i was having problems. i think something went wrong related to the database since the script was calling for something that no longer existed.

    what happened was i was installing the latest wfsection module but overlooked the fact there was no upgrade script for it so i had to spend hours trying to fix it so it would show articles.

    i have uninstalled the wfsection mod and brought back the old one. the template screen appeared ok again.

    it sounds like you have modules that are installed (according to the database), but the module files have been removed from your site.

    You could take a look at the xoops_modules table and see if there are any records in there for modules that no longer exist. If there are, your best option is to re-install those modules by putting the files back on your webserver, then uninstalling them via System -> Modules

    I totally understand your frustration Limecity...

    I myself had this problem, and here comes the part u dont wanna hear... i cant remember how i've solved it...

    But i did, so there is hope.

    My tread about this problem

    My site looked like this...

    A lot like yours.

    I try to keep track of my site, and what i do on my site, i'll check my "web diary" to see if i can find out what i did to solve the problem.
