Can you please clarify this for me: Does this mean that they are totally separate modules ? If I have myDownloads already installed, will this module coexist peacefully with it ?

And would I have to manually transfer content across from myDownloads to use this module ?

Grateful for advice.

this is the same wf-downloads as released before, but has been bug fixed from previous versions, so a lot of bugs have now been addressed and fixed..

also the filename and directory have been changed to wfdownloads instead of mydownloads, therefore the 2 can now co-exist together.. in such it is now a module on it's own

the upgrade script will not convert your old mydownloads files to work with wfdownloads, so you will have to either wait for the mydownloads to wfdownloads converter to be released, or do this manually by adding the downloads yourself..

Yes, they are seperate modules and can coexist with each other without any known problems. We hope that we have resloved all the issues with the previous released "Buggy" version and not introduced too many new bugs ;)=

We will be using this stable verison as starting point to adding many new features in the future versions. So, if you have any new ideas just pop over to our website and let us know and we will do our best to get them in there. =)

Catzwolf has changed priorities and is now (again) the Teamleader for Module development.

see:

What happened to Catz & Wf-Sections?

Announcement regarding Catzwolf's rash departure

Concentrating on that work he gave the wf-section modules into the hands of Liquid and another developer.
(a team which has been meanwhile joined by phppp).

Just for the record, I no longer wish to remain as a module team developer or their leader, nor do I wish to develop modules for the XOOPS module development team in any capacity.

I am sorry if I have let anyone down or you feel betrayed by my actions over the last few months but I now feel it is really time for me to leave.

I would just like to add I did not leave over any differences of opinion or for any reason that would reflect on the current XOOPS Core or module team. This was a personal decision that I have taken.

I would like to thank everyone at XOOPS and wish you all the best for the future.
