I was looking around my XOOPS and I couldn't find anything for adding news articles to the top page of my site. I want one that says who posted it, when they posted it and all the stuff news things should have. I don't really know how to explain it any better but I would appreciate it if someone could help me add this to my site.

Thanks in advance!

So it's impossible to add news to the first page people view on my site? Damn...

Dreakon, I'm not sure it is what you want but here it is anyway...

Go in Administration Menu>System Admin>Blocks

All the blocks are there. Have a look at the Recent News block. Set it to visible and you'll have your block.

Is this what you needed?

Dreakon

You need to set up "News" as your default launch module in system admin/preferences/general settings to have users see news artices on the first page they visit.
