In my case, using FTP:
1) Copy content of my local drive:
S:\Xoops\xoopsmodules\pico-1.63a\html
to:
yourxoops/
2) Copy content of:
S:\Xoops\xoopsmodules\pico-1.63a\xoops_trust_path
to
yourxoops/xoops_lib
3) In Admin, go to System/Modules and Install Pico

Hi Rick, what version of XOOPS are you using?
In my experience, sometimes the blocks are there in the Admin, you just have to select the right combination, e.g:
Blocks generated by,
Blocks visible in,
Groups access,
Visible (types)
So what might be happening is that when the module is disabled, the block acts as "orphan" and it's visible in the general view. When the module is enabled, the block is visible only when you select that module in the "Blocks visible in" drop-down menu.
I don't know if this is the case, but just a thought...

The recent repeated comments on ICMS forums from your leaders trying to scare people, and your above negative announcement related to XOOPS 2.3, shows clearly that there is a lot of FUD coming from ICMS side. Because you're on the other side of the fence, I'm sure you'll see things differently

1) Please don't post twice the same message.
2) To update your current installation, you'll need to download XOOPS 2.3.1, and then follow exactly the upgrade instructions.
It seems that you're a beginner in XOOPS, so before you do the upgrade, please make sure that you've made a backup of all your files and your database, and that you understand how you can restore them, if needed!!!!
