We in the XOOPS module developing group are working on a set of requirements to be met to get the "Official XOOPS Module Certification". Among those requirements will be the use of existing objects, SMARTY templates, Notification and Preferences - where this is an advantage, of courrse.

The set of requirements is not done yet, and we'll also need to setup a group of module testers/reviewers for the certification - Catzwolf is the leader of the module development and can give more information as and when it is available (as well as correct me, where I made a blooper )

the xoopsgallery is a heavy modified version...
its not easy to update it to 1.4
but i think the important fixes can port to the xoopsgallery version

in the next days gstarrett will release a fixed version of xoopsgallery.. just wait

i think i may have assumed that your system admin icon was missing in the control panel, if this is not the case then just follow first post instuctions.

a fixed version is allready in development..
it included all fixes from the forum..
some features request and some more fixes(working gallery remote)..

just wait some days gstarrett is working hard on a new stable version

News category navigation or installation of two My Links mods

Is there any way I can get the categories and subcategories in the news module to display in a way the MyLinks cats do? Static links across the top if the news block pages with the user able to navigate betweeen categories?

If not is it possible to install two MyLinks modules without one overwriting the other?
