We are deeply grateful to Richard Griffith (aka Geekwright) for his years of dedication and leadership in guiding the XOOPS Core Team. His contributions have been invaluable in shaping XOOPS into the powerful and flexible platform it is today. While we are saddened by his resignation due to health reasons, we extend our heartfelt appreciation for everything he has done for the community.

At the same time, we are excited to welcome Nicolas Andricq (aka ForMuss, or ForXoops on Github) as the new Core Team leader! Nicolas has been a long-time supporter and contributor to XOOPS, and we are confident that under his leadership, the project will continue to evolve and thrive.

The future of XOOPS is bright, and with the strength of our community and the dedication of contributors like Richard and Nicolas, we look forward to advancing innovation, usability, and excellence. Let’s continue building together!
