New Bug Reporting Procedures
With XOOPS getting close to release, it's getting VERY hard to keep up with what's a bug and what's a user error from reports in the forums. So, the XOOPS team has decided to finally use the bug reporting facilities within Sourceforge (Tracker). You will need to create or have an account on Sourceforge to submit a bug. Sorry, no anonymous bugs

Xoops2 API documentation!
Hi!
I went ahead and started documenting the core API for Xoops2 using phpDoc, as you can see in the CVS. The generated doc can be viewed at http://xoops.sourceforge.net/xoops2doc/.
The work is far from complete, because I started in the kernel classes working my way out. It will be updated as more code gets added.
Important Notice to everyone writing code:
You all should read my introduction to writing phpDoc API documentation: (Check once in a while, it might change a little as we discover new best practices.)

New XOOPS 2 Site Up
I'm not tooting my horn here but, I did want to let everyone know that I've bitten the bullet and used the RC2 to upgrade my production site http://www.boardjive.com.
That was a walk in the park. What I want to show is that with the new XOOPS 2 theme'ing system, more things are possible without coding PHP. I took the Default theme and modified it to suit my needs. In the near future I will be doing a lot more cool things with CSS and the theme system. Understand that there are no hacks here, I only used CSS and modified the templates.
Hopefully by next week, I'll have a mini theme how-to in the XOOPS wiki (http://wiki.xoops.org) to give you some guidelines on how to accomplish this same thing. Stay tuned.

Since Freecontent won't be upgraded by the original developer anymore. I am the one who takes care of it now. So I gave it a new Name and did some modifications.
Following modifications:
1. Content files (html) are now searchable inside Xoops
2. Filemangement added to the admin section
3. You can add and delete the files now through the admin interface no need of ftp client anymore
4. Content is fixed to the content-folder inside the module
5. Put images or additional files to the fixed image folder
