I uploaded this release last week, and finally got around to posting the news today.
The FatalQuery Halflife Server Query module Release Candidate 1 has been released. This module originally existed in PHP-Nuke, and was created by nobleclem at http://fatalexception.us. This is a port of his module, and while everything works fine, there are still a few php notices that need to be fixed, as well as templates that need to be created.
Release Candidate 1 for FlashGames for Xoops has now been released! This is the one and only officially pnFlashGames supported arcade for the Xoops CMS. That means that you can download and install any game from pnFlashGames.com and use it in your Xoops arcade! This includes more than 150 high score saving free games as well as a fantastic selection of professionally developed and reasonably priced games available in our store.
Please note that this version only works on XOOPS 2.0.7. Please note as well, that any prior version of XOOPS Multilanguages does only work on XOOPS 2.0.6. Thus, if you want a multilingual site with XOOPS 2.0.7, you HAVE to install this package
There are a handful of files in the new 2.0.7 release of Xoops that overwrite GIJOE's awesome auto login hack if you have enabled it, so I put this pack together so all you have to do is unrar, upload, and update.
You can download the 2.0.7 Auto Login Hack Pack in RAR format from;
Modules need additional developers at dev.xoops.org
There are many modules in development over at the XOOPS Dev Forge Site, and there are several Help Wanted postings for developers to join the module dev teams.
These positions are volunteer of course, and most if not all of the open positions are for PHP or SQL developers. If you think you have what it takes, Apply to join the Dev Site and then apply for the job posting.
This is a good opportunity for those of you looking to give back to the Xoops Community!
The XOOPS Core Development Team is pleased to announce the release of XOOPS 2.0.7. This is mainly a "bug fix" release which addresses numerous issues reported since 2.0.6, and includes two important security related fixes. Therefore it is highly recommended that all 2.0.X users upgrade to this version.
This is the re-release of the 2.0.7 package. Those who already upgraded to 2.0.7 before need only to update include/common.php and add the html/upgrade/xoops_206_to_207.php file.
!!EXTRA UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS!! Please apply the patch as ususal, overwriting the original files with the ones from the patch. Please use your FTP application to make the mainfile.php file in your site root folder temporarily writable (chmod 777). Point your broweser to http://www.yoursite.com/upgrade/xoops_206_to_207.php, and follow the instructions. When the upgrade of mainfile.php is done, please chmod mainfile.php back to 644 or 444, and remove the upgrade/xoops_206_to_207.php file from your server.
