AMS Module Released To Xoops Community
AMS is a highly modified version of the News 1.2 module for Xoops, and took over 6 months in development.
AMS adds a huge amount of features to give webmasters a lot more control and flexibility over their content while still maintaining an easy to understand and use interface.
AMS is highly scalable and is geared towards performance, and as such is particulary well suited to hosting large article repositories with thousands of articles that attract high volumes of traffic. However, it is just as well suited to hosting a handful of articles for a personal site.
AMS comes complete with a migration script to bring over all content from the News 1.1 module (News 1.2 works as well, but attachments are NOT migrated), and a script to migrate system comments from the News module to the AMS module will be available as well very shortly.
AMS runs totally independent of the News module, and as such both modules can be run concurrently without a problem.

Christmas Theme
We are proud to announce the release of our forth theme, a Christmas theme. The theme has a nice background and is a colection of red, green, grey and white colours.

A typo in theme.html that was displaying the right block incorrectly has been fixed. PLease click on the link to either download the theme or to fix the incorrect block. Demo.

WebMailFX 1.0RC2a is out!
The WebMailFX Team has lately enetered and hard developing period focused on developing IMAP support for the module.
While developing new features, we tried to gave more stability and usability to what we already have. Therefore, we release this 1.0RC2a which includes:
-New Icon Set. Alternate ones are available for download on the project page;
-Update script. This allow people using old versions of the module to easily migrate to the last one. See readme file for details;
-Check box in inbox.php: it allow to check all messages in a page (think about spam, when you want to check and delete all messages);
-Enlarged lenght of ufrom field in wmfx_popsettings table. It has been moved from 50 to 100 mainly because a very big "from" field could not stay in it;
-All classes(pop3.php and class.rc4crypt.php) which were out of the right directory (class) have been moved into it;
-A bunch of useless files have been deleted;
-A bunch of undefined vars have been fixed.
We hope to get feedback from users soon and we wish you all a very...

Sunshine theme
Sunshine is the first theme I have developed, and it is my first official contribution to the Xoops community. It is bright and sunny, as the name suggests. You can preview the theme at http://www.beerloverseverywhere.com/ (don't attempt to register for the site -- it isn't ready yet!) and download the theme here.
The theme is based on ackbarr's famous karate_redux theme, but I've added two important elements:
First (important!), I have removed some of the newbb2 CSS and added it to the Sunshine CSS, so that the dropdown menus in newbb2 look as though they were made specifically for the Sunshine theme. (I've done this for the other two themes on my website as well.) See notes on the download page and in the style.css file for more info.
Second, I've added the Search field and a link to the Advanced Search form to the header of the theme, so that search features take up minimal space (i.e. no Search block necessary) and are present on every page.
Please let me know what I can do to improve the appearance, performance, and code quality of the theme. Thanks!

McAfee and Sophos Virus Info
XOOPS @ IBDeeming! has created a block/module add-on that allows you to display virus information from the repositories of McAfee and Sophos. Repositories are accessed through JavaScript and information is updated on a regular basis.
Make sure that you copy this package to a temporary location. Copy the module to your XOOPS site, and install through the administration panel. It's pretty straight forward!
