Netquery v3.3 Release Candidate
Release candidate downloads* for Netquery version 3.3, the complete PHP/SQL open-source toolkit of network information utilities, are currently available at http://virtech.org/tools/pretest/ . When asked for a user name and password, enter both as "pretest" without the quotes. (This is just to prevent casual unintended downloads of pre-release packages.) If you prefer FTP downloading, you can go to ftp.virtech.org and enter "pretest@virtech.org" as the user name and "pretest" as the password, again without the quotes.

Netquery CSS stylesheets, both those supplied (8) and any added by site designers, are all listed in the configuration control panel for administrator selection. In all cases, outputs are now displayed in styled tabular format and inputs now use form fieldsets with links to contextual user help available within each fieldset legend. This update is intended to enhance Netquery's "out-of-the-box" appearance and to make all editions more readily adaptable to various CMS themes and to the preferences of individual web site managers.

ezLink2Us (Link To Us Page)
ezLink2Us is a very simple "Link To Us" module with an added benefit. The linking code produced by this module capitalizes on SEO techniques and includes your site's Name and Slogan in the title and alt attributes of the linking code. Using such an approach increases the value of the links back to your site that use this code.
In addition to graphical links, there are also two text link options. Both options insert your site's Name and Slogan in the title attribute of the linking code.
This is a very simple module to install and there is virtually no configuration necessary. Simply upload, install, and add your images and you're ready to go.

Articles 1.01 released
Articles v1.01 has been released. This is a maintenance release to fix problems using WYSIWYG editors in XOOPS v2.2*, and also adds an option for the Koivi editor.

Xoops Site of the Month December 2005
Here we are with the last result of the year 2005. This month winner is Asian Car Styling. CONGRATULATION!
I could name many sites this month but all in all what i can say for the votings of the last year is, that i never had awaited such a range of interesting XOOPS Sites, huge communities, great content and layout and each site a creation of a xoopser artist. Congratulation to this month winner and congratulation to all nominated xoops sites.

XOOPS Survey for marketing research project
XOOPS started a marketing research project with a group of students from the HES School of Economics and Business. One of project's goals is to find out what the community and visitors to the XOOPS site think of the product in general, and how XOOPS can be improved. For this purpose a survey has been created.

The XOOPS development team is pleased to announce the availability of the XOOPS 2.2.4 Patch release. This is a maintenance release that fixes many bugs and features some security enhancements. Thus, is it HIGHLY recommended to every XOOPS 2.2.x user to upgrade to this version as soon as possible.

No one had noticed that, but Xoops project is 4 years old !
Like hsalazar two years ago, i wanted to do something a bit special for the occasion too,and have updated his timeline.
"So here it is. What is it? It's a XOOPS Timeline depicting (sort of) the main dates in the development of this amazing product."
--> A good way to make a flashback through our project.

Frozen Bubble version 1.3
Hello,
A new version of the Xoops game called Frozen Bubble was released.
This new version just corrects a bug in the high scores.
Download the module from its homepage and upgrade it to your website.
Nothing else was changed.

iSearch version 1.3
Hello,
A new version of the Xoops module called iSearch was released.
Here is the list of changes :
- The module now records visitors IPs (because of spamers), so the database was modified.
I have made a small upgrade script you can call here :
http://www.example.com/modules/isearch/admin/upgrade.php
- You can prune keywords by IP
- A bug in the words deletion was corrected
- Your starting positions in the different lists visible in the admin are saved in session
- Visitors IP is now visible in the module's stat part
- All the modules sql queries were modified to run with old mysql versions (thanks jseymour for the tests)
- The blacklist's content is now sorted alphabetically
- You can use regular expressions in the blacklist
- I have added a new constant in the file /xoops/modules/isearch/language/yourlanguage/admin.php (_AM_ISEARCH_IP)

Spiritual Oneness
After over the last year or so, having so many problems with using to much of my servers resources and having to move servers a couple of times; I split my site in to 2.
So now all the information is in one place and all the forum, chat and things that are regularly used on another.
At some point I need to make the two sites one, yet for now it has to be this way; untill it is on a dedicated server of its own.
