Panther Software is very proud to announce the release of xStreamer 0.95, a module to categorise, display and stream Adobe FLV Videos.
The 0.95 release provides better compatibility with the Xoops 2.2.x and 2.0.x branches.

xStreamer Provides:
1. AJAX based voting system
2. Six blocks to categorise and rank videos: video categories, most views, most commented, highest rated, most rated and best rated videos
3. Ability for visitors to leave comments on all videos
4. Large video files (>100MB and upwards with no top limit).
5. Requires web server with PHP support. Does not require expensive streaming software or hardware.
6. Pure streaming with support to seeking/scrubbing to any point in the video including video that has not been downloaded.
7. ANY FLV file can be streamed. FLV files do not require Metadata injection.
8. Will work in Apache, Lighttpd and pretty much any web server.
9. FLV source files are secured and can be placed outside of a web server's public directory.
10. Each FLV file records usage and views statistics.
11. Support for Bandwidth throttling to distribute load for busy sites.
12. No intermediary FLV files are created! Everything is done in PHP.
13. Does not require any extra external tools and will run under *nix, OS X, Windows etc...
14. Requires Flash 7.0.63 to be installed on client machines which should make it compatible with Windows, OS X and Linux users and browsers.

HotRod Theme
Here's yet another layout in my series of dark-themed designs. This theme is 1/2/3 column compatible as well as compatible with XOOPS 2.0.16. This particular design is targeted towards fans of high performance cars. While this theme features images of the 2008 Chevy Camaro Concept Car, you can easily adapt this theme to feature your favorite ride.In addition to being a theme inspired by the love of fast cars, this theme also serves as an example of how easy it is to customize the XOOPS default theme to create a unique design that suites the personality of your site. This theme took just a few hours and a minimal amount of graphics design and CSS customization to create a layout that is original, fast, and easy to customize.
As usual, this theme is XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 1.0/2.0 compliant and is targeted towards users who're not afraid of doing a little fine-tuning to personalize their theme to their site. Also, for those who want to further personalize the graphics, all source images are included.
I hope you enjoy using this theme as much as I've enjoyed designing it. If you find any bugs, please let me know and I'll fix them as soon as I have the time.

Hello fellow XOOPS-ers,
I've recreated a theme for my LenoirMind :: art & (web) design portal and I've also modified the excellent Smartsection module into a -well- smartersection module. It now uses the metakeywords as a means to do flexible crosslinking between items within smartsection, but it also spans to other modules (debaser for instance for audio and video)
The portal focusses on artistic expressions as well as technological and scientific perspectives on these. I use the portal and additional applications I build for my artistic research that I undertake with different organisations. In this collaboration network LenoirMind.nl acts as a node for artistic information.
Lots of content is available only in dutch, but I've managed to keep the front page mostly english.

The GreenLeaf theme is a variable width, 1/2/3 column design that is highly flexible. The focus of this theme was to create a nice visually pleasing theme that satisfied the requirements of being variable width, 3 column compatible and XOOPS 2.0.16+ compatible. As usual, this theme is XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 1.0/2.0 compliant and is targeted towards users who’re not afraid of doing a little fine-tuning to personalize their theme to their site. Also, for those who want to further personalize the graphics, all source images are included.

We are pleased to announce a new version of the ModInfos module.
Due to the fact that we made several improvements to that module, we decided to rename it into "XoopsInfo", and to numerate it from 2.1x.
New features are many and essential, this (heavy) work from Dugris is in a way a compilation of all of your wishes, e.g. information and/or admin utilities you wanted to see in the xoops admin panel.
Caution : For those who want to keep the classical mimetype's manager, don't upload /class, /kernel and /language directory/files from the module's archive
