First Digital City in Greece
The City of Trikala, the examplatory Digital City of Greece, joined INEC, with a a formal signing ceremony officiating the new member into INEC's board in Trikala on January 16, 2007.
The medium-sized city of Trikala has created a stirr in Greece. First, it has produced tangible results under its E-Trikala initiative, the first Greek digital city project carried with local, regional and national support.
Second, it has embraced the principles of Open Networks: the City Council of Trikala has endorsed the INEC Declaration on Open Networks and it has a city-wide open access wireless network with filtered, free access for all citizens.
Third, Trikala is preparing the deploy a next-generation infrastructure and enhance and accelerate the introduction of next generation services enabled by such networks. Last -but not least - Trikala joined INEC and is set to actively and visibly participate in INEC's April mission to UTOPIA, Utah and at Broadband Cities 2007 to be held in Amsterdam and Almere in November.

Friggin Right!
This is a site built to keep a group of friends together even though we're apart!
Many of us are spread out across Canada but remain close friends. We use XOOPS to create a community site where can share our thoughts and other fun stuff!

I have developed the modulate "Power link to us"
CHARACTERISTIC OF THE MODULE
1. This module is ready in english and spanish

2. I made all the clipart in gif to expose the two languages
Example: 234x60 Half Banner Link
3. The modulate comes with 2 blocks
4. The power link to us offers a section to place the partner's link.
See the partner section click here
5. To control the Spam the block appears in blue color, (don't appears the url address)
6. The modulate comes with an easy box to copy the code and to paste in the sites.
NOTE: In order to release the module I need your help to solve a little problem. Only the webmaster can place the url in the database. I need the module working for the visitors can place their websites in the partners section.

Thanks to Xoops, GuitarGearHeads is one of the leading guitar sites on the internet, experiencing greater than 70,000 unique users and 1.7 million page views a month.
We started with Xoops in its infancy (like one of the V1 RCs!) and have grown with it. We have found that regardless of the debates on SEO tactics, Xoops indexes extremely well. This is evidenced by our #1 placement on Google for various key search terms. It goes to show you it's all about content! And we have alot of it...
For the new year we have made some major improvements to the site - including a new theme and expansions of some custom modules. Thank you to all the developers who create fantastic code!
