CVD's X Basic Graphs Now Available For Download
X Basic Graphs is an experimental prototype for adding JPGraph functionality to your XOOPS site and is now available for Download
Simply stated, X Basic Graphs (with JPGraph Library) uses the information you provide in a php file to generate a graphic image of the desired graph or chart. To display the image you employ a simple html img tag defining the source of the image as the associated php file.
If you would like to share your graph creations with others we will add them under the /graphs/ subdirectory organized by module they are associated with.

WF-Channel 2.03 and WF-Resource 1.04 released
I have uploaded the latest versions of WF-Channel and WF-Resource to the Sourceforge website.

Please download the two modules and install them for proper working order.
What is WF-Channel?
WF-Channel is a module to display Misc pages on your website. This module is not a replacement for a content module, though it could be easily used as such if required.
WF-Channel can also display a 'Link to US' and 'Refer' pages.
WF-Channel Fixes:
=>Version 2.03
- Fixed: Duplicate and Duplicate All would copy the default var across to the new page. Now duplicate and duplicate pages will set this option to 0 during the copy process.
- Fixed: Bug in the WF-Resource check function function. Wasn't correctly checking to see if is the module was an object first.
- Fixed: Missing uninstall.php file.
- Fixed: Added complete check on whether 'XoopsEditor' was available or not. If XoopsEditor is not available then WF-Channel will use
XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea instead.
- Fixed: Linebreaks for links and refer would always return on even if saved as off.
- Fixed: Language issues when not using english as default. This has now been corrected.
- Fixed: Page navigation in main index added an extra 'index' to the url.
- Fixed: The default page on index would state that no index page was choosen. This would happened sometimes if the page navigation was used.
- Added: When you update WF-Channel from the Xoops Module admin, WF-channel will automatically update the tables with the new fields. So you don't have to update from WF-Channel admin now.
- Added: The updater will now automatically update some fields like dohtml, dosmilies etc when updating from v1 to v2. This is due to changed behavioue with these fields.
- Added: Due to a compatability issue, WF-Channel will check to see if the var (pagenum) is being used and convert it to the new (cid) var.
This is to keep external links alive.
- Added: Added more XOOP_ROOT_PATH checks to files to prevent people opening outwith the XOOPS_ROOT_PATH
- Changed: Removed some unwanted files from the package.
- Fixed: "Error: 1364 Field 'wfc_search' doesn't have a default value"
- Changed: Changed all text values within database to default NULL rather than NOT null values.
WF-Resource 1.04

- Fixed language issues within this module.
- Fixed: Fixed issues with 'editor class'. Should now know that if the class does exist or not properly.
- Changed: The method that the Xoopsform classes are included. WF-Resource will include these functions to overcome
conflicts with newer classes that the WF-Modules require without having to touch the core files.
- Added: New Class: Tab class. Class to add tabs to any page etc if required
- Added: New Class: Mimetype class. added a generic mimetype class. This class will be used for future modules.
- Added: New Class: Sessions class. Adds custom sessions to be used with future modules.
- Added: New Class: Votes class. This class is to add a voting system to modules.
- Added: New Class: Tree class. This class extends the xoops tree class (tree.php) to all for an 'onchange' functionality in the pulldown menu.

i have upgrade my dsl blog and dsl vergleich portal from Xoops-2.0.18.2 to the current Xoops-2.3.2b Version and i'm happy.
the database working now under utf-8.

Obituaries Module
hello,
today my post isn't a new theme as usually: it's to announce my first module : Obituaries.
"Obituaries" is a new XOOPS module to announce death and show services to be held.
Obituaries module was based on birthday module by instant zero, and has been totally transformed with the
precious collaborations and helps of Mowaffak ali (http://www.arabxoops.com).
Short description :
This module allows you to show :
- Date of death
- Deceased's Full Name
- Deceased's Picture (automatically resized)
- Short Biography: This typically includes the person's date and place of birth, schools attended, degrees achieved, vocation and hobbies. It can be written as a perfunctory, chronological list or as a more prose-like tribute.
- Names of Survivors: This typically includes the deceased's parents, children, spouse or domestic partner. Some people even include the name of a beloved pet.
- Service Announcement: or Services to be held: When and where the funeral, memorial service, viewing or wake will take place.
- Memorial Contributions: Where people can make donations in remembrance of the deceased or send flowers.
- Sincere Condolences : users can use the comment system to write their Condolences
Specifications :
- This module can be used with social, family or news websites, it contains one block : "today deceased". (Deceased's picture is available)
- You can see a list of all obituaries
- You can select the text editor to use
- You can upload a picture to each deceased (pictures are automatically resized)
- Obituary can be created for persons who are not users of your site
- Integration of the Xoops comments system (hacked to be used as condolences book)
- Integrated to the Xoops search
Notes : The modules requires Php 5 , and it's compatible with XOOPS 2.2x and 2.3x

Xoops and Oledrion for the industry
The website http://www.dubuis.com facelifts with the help of the Instant-Zero solutions, Oledrion in the front.
For a long time I wanted to redesign the website of my company. Our business is the design, manufacture and marketing of hydraulic tools.
The old site in html was really any more suited to current constraints. Referencing very bad, products updates available only for the developer, styles changes very delicate, compatibility problems between different internet browsers ...
The major difficulty, after the time, was the lack of a module that can display a catalogue of an organized, simple, adaptable, stable way.
It was of course impossible for me to use anything else that XOOPS, but the module commerce (as OsCommerce) did not match what I wanted. I aimed to quickly delegate management of the catalog to my colleagues in the marketing department. I needed a module easy to administer, easy to use by user, simple and homogeneous.
Oledrion has naturally imposed, it responded very well to my expectations.
Recent changes in Oledrion 2.1 served me a lot ... In particular the ability to hide tabs in the administration for non-standard used features.
Mini forms for selection in the list of products are very useful when creating items and when the list becomes long.
The creation of relatives links between the products in Oledrion is underway; the work on referencing is also in progress.
My company cannot make payment online (we only work with distributors having differents prices), so I changed the management of the basket and converted the online payment as request for quote. Some templates have been modified and some adaptations due to multilingualism were necessary.
Some features have been disabled as inventory management, VAT, carriage costs, manufacturers and retailers.
The catalog is a very simple products list, with a possibility to download the data sheets in pdf, to place the product in a list for a quote.
In addition to Oledrion some modules were used:
"Tinyeditor" for WYSIWYG,
"Pages" for the presentation of the company,
"Contact" for the contact form,
"Googlemaps" for details on location,
"Sitemap" for the map,
"XoopsCare" for maintenance,
"Protector" for security.
After several weeks of work for the creation of 200 items from the catalog I finally set up the new site: http://www.dubuis.com
